UPDATE: Returned for takeout pizza and it was much better this time. Large Truffle Mushroom — highly recommended. This time the pizza crust was done right. Soft and chewy,reasonably flavorful. One of the best I’ve had in this area.
We did takeout here: Vodka Margarita pizza, MVP chicken cutlet sandwich, and chicken wings. I gotta say, the vodka sauce on the pizza is very good. The pizza crust though… that was well below average. Pizza didn’t fit in the box, so it was folded over on one side. Crust was a bit dry and crunchy and tasted almost stale. I guess this could happen from cooking it too long in an oven that is not hot enough, or maybe just not enough hydration in the dough…? The crust did not have any flavor and was the whitest white. The cheese and vodka sauce were both very good, so that kind of almost saved the pizza, but not really. We did not devour this pizza with any kind of enthusiasm. A few basil leaves were scattered unevenly on the pizza. I think chopped basil spread more evenly would have been better.
MVP chicken cutlet sandwich was very good. I recommend this – chicken was moist and tender, it has that same delicious vodka sauce, and the pesto was surprisingly good. Roll was quality too. It would appear that they do a good job with the sandwiches here, as opposed to their pizza. Chicken wings were okay. Ordering online is easy, and they are fast and accurate with their order completion times.

We were visiting from out of town and finally got to go here after seeing great reviews on YouTube. Everything was amazing! The cheesesteak, burrata salad, and fried Nutella dough specifically.

I have never left a review but after recently moving to the area, I was told this was the best cheesesteak around and had my first order. I was so incredibly disappointed. The cheesesteak was delivered cold, the cheese was hard and crumbly instead of smooth and melted. The meat had zero flavor. The long hot had the stem left on it and had zero heat. The mushrooms were not cooked. The cheesesteak isn’t even served on a full bread roll. It appeared to be half a roll. I do not remotely compare this to a quality Philly cheesesteak. Very disappointed. And it cost me over $30 to be delivered.

I visited Lucatelli’s today for the first time, and came away most impressed! The pizza was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and a gloriously authentic flavor. As an avid motorcyclist and scooterist, I appreciated the “Vespa theme” of the restaurant’s decor as well. I will DEFINITELY be back!

This is a cool spot! I took a chance on it and drove almost an hour to try their pizza! The place is refreshingly clean and pleasant to dine-in! You order at the counter and then the food is brought to you. The staff seemed friendly enough. I always judge a pizza spot off a pretty basic pepperoni or pepperoni mushroom which is what I did here. Usually ask for it to be cooked welldone but that is not needed here. The pizza was quite good! The crust is super thin and manages to hold up to the taco test, the ratio of toppings was fair. My only two trifles would be: half of my garlic knots were upside down when they were delivered. They still tasted fine but it just visually looses some points for me. The 2nd thing is a preference thing. I find sometimes the small pepperoni cups can have a hammy taste. These were a little hammy. Yes I realize it’s the same animal but if I wanted ham. I’d order ham, lol. I’d definitely go back!

I was really looking forward to trying the food, we ordered the honey hot peperoni pizza and a cheesesteak with cooper, fried onions and mayo. I was very impressed with how quick they had my food ready, it took no longer than 10 minutes. The inside of the restaurant looked very clean and had a great atmosphere.
As for the food, I would have to say that it was very underwhelming. The cheesesteak tasted like it had no seasoning, and the cheese wasn’t fully melted through meat. It was very light on flavor. The same goes for the pizza. The pizza looked great but every bite just tasted like honey and nothing else, hardly any salt even from the peperoni and cheese, the pizza sauce was very light. It was a little let down from the food experience the service wasn’t any better, the lady just handed me the food without a here you go or goodbye.
They just need more seasoning in there food and work on the service decorum.
Other than that if you’re a local, its not a bad place to frequent, but this is going to be a 1 and done for me.

Lucatelli’s is a great spot that never disappoints. The food is always really good, especially the pizza and the cheesesteaks, which are definitely standouts on the menu. I’ve ordered from here plenty of times and have never had a bad meal. Everything is always prepared well, tastes fresh, and clearly made with care. It’s one of those reliable places you can count on for a consistently great meal.

We got a variety of hot sandwich trays, penne vodka, meatballs, garlic knots and salads. But you really can’t go wrong with anything at Lucatelli’s. As a native New Yorker who used to live on Long Island , this is the best pizzeria I have come across after living here for nearly four years. The chicken cutlet is perfection, the cheese and sauce ratio is delicious, and the customer service and ambience want warm, inviting, and made me feel welcome. My only wish is that I lived closer after driving from Delaware County- but I will be back when I’m the area ! I am happy to finally know why the MVP (square slice with multiple sauces ) is the real MVP- it did not disappoint !

Great food. Upbeat ambience. CLEANest pizza place ever. We had chicken cheese steak with added roasted peppers; MVP square. Pizza crust crispy on bottom, chewy rest. Was a 50 minute drive to try Lucatelli. Worth it. We will be back.
