This was my first visit to this location. My server, Stephanie, was very friendly and customer focused. The pizza was really good amd highly recommend. Also got to meet one of the owners, Bella. Very engaging and friendly. This is surely NY style pizza. Will be going again

I saw the other reviews for this restaurant and decided I had to try it for lunch and today was the day. It definitely did not disappoint! Great portions for a good price and our waitress, Tiffany was phenomenal. I especially appreciated her keen sense to detail, as I ordered my salad without the nuts. She came back and asked did it need to be prepared on a different board because she was concerned if I was allergic to nuts. I’m not, however I’ve never been asked that before I was pretty impressed that she was thoughtful enough to ask. That’s my definition of excellent customer service! Highly recommend!!

My wife and I went here for the first time the other night. I’ve been here before when it was other restaurants before too. I’ll make bucket points:
– Food: for an appetizer we got the antipasti. I don’t believe it was worth the price it was at due to the overload of lettuce on the plate and a lack of a bread type item to put the meats and cheese on. We did order a side of the bread which was really good and used that. It wasn’t horrible but I wouldn’t get it again. For a main course we got the chicken parm for both of us. This was absolutely amazing. The chicken was breaded so lightly and it was still crispy and tasted amazing. If anyone asks me what a perfect chicken looked like, I’d tell them to go here. The pasta was good and my wife loved it. I enjoyed it but personal preference is I don’t like noodles that are too thick. But it was a 10/10 and tanks as one of the best chicken parm’s I have ever had. We also got the buratta pizza. I can’t complain about it too much and it was good but I wouldn’t get it again. The crust was immaculate and so was the sauce but one of the flavors in there wasn’t for me. I want to try another pizza next time cause based off what I enjoyed about the buratta, I’m sure it’ll be amazing. But I 100% recommend the chicken parm.

– Atmosphere: It’s a SMALL restaurant. Have that in mind when you go. As long as you’re ok with being squeezed in, you’ll be ok. We knew that going in so we weren’t surprised. It is a bit loud but nothing beyond what you’d expect and it was super busy which is good in my opinion. Again, it’s small so be ready for that. But get the chicken parm. It’s perfect.

-Service: Service was good. We made a reservation so we were sat fast, and the server came up quick. He was attentive too. The food also came out relatively fast for how busy it was which was super great. The pizza took longer but it was busy so that’s expected as it’s wood fire pizza and it’s made as you order it. I’m not upset in the least.

It was overall a great experience and we will be going again. Only 4 stars due to the appetizer not being what was expected but the bar has been set for chicken parm in my opinion. Definitely the best in Columbia

First time visit last Saturday afternoon. It was pretty crowded and I apparently there was a wedding party on the outside patio. I had a cup of pasta fagioli to start. It was really good. The only other time I’ve had that soup was at olive garden, and it had ground beef. I think I prefer that, but this was still really flavorful. For my entree I had zuppa di luca. Sort of like a cioppino, it had a lobster tail, shrimp, claws, mussels and calamari in a red sauce on linguini. It needed a LOT more sauce, but overall it was a really good dish. My wife got the chicken parm and it was huge portions. We both went there thinking pizza, but the menu is so dang big, we got sidetracked. We will definitely be back, and I think this may turn into one of our local go to spots.

My first time and I must say DELISH!I’ve had several people talk about how delicious the food was and nice the service staff were. We we greeted with smiles and seated immediately. Zach our server was EXCELLENT!! He was just wonderful. He kept our glasses full, our table clean and friendly conversation. I will request his section again! This local restaurant is a Gem. They have take out options also. I ordered a 12″peperoni/sausage Xtra cheese. The crust and sauce….everything was delicious. Oh, wait the garlic bread, oh my heavens incredible!

Good food, disappointing dine-in experience

My fiancé and I visited Luca’s Pizza in person today to celebrate our 1-year engagement. We came in without a reservation and were told the only seating available was a high-top table. We accepted, although the restaurant didn’t appear very busy—about a quarter of the tables were open, which made the situation a little confusing.

We’ve ordered from Luca’s through DoorDash before and have always enjoyed the food, and that part of the experience stayed consistent. Everything we ordered tasted great. However, the dine-in experience fell short.

Our food took longer than expected, but our server apologized and explained they had a large to-go order, so we understood. What really disappointed us was that before bringing the check, our server told us, “We have to get you guys out of here because we have a reservation coming up.” Considering we were already seated at the only “available” table, it made us feel rushed and unwelcome during what was supposed to be a special occasion.

We also asked for a military discount. The server didn’t wait to look at my fiancé’s CAC, and when she came back, she applied the discount only to his entrée. Had we known it was per person, I would have shown my CAC as well. The discount didn’t apply to the appetizer or to-go pizza, and on a nearly $150 bill, the discount came out to just over $2.00. We completely understand if a restaurant has specific discount rules, but clearer communication would have gone a long way.

Overall, the food was good, but the dine-in experience left a lot to be desired. Next time, we’ll likely stick to takeout instead of celebrating a special occasion in the restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend! The lasagna was huge and I could only eat a small corner of it and we had plenty of leftovers. Superior service and they even box your leftovers for you. We definitely plan on going back and trying different things.

First time in and it won’t be our last! Everything was delicious. It was busy but service was timed well. We had an arugula salad that was really nice. Complimentary garlic bread is fluffy, warm and not overly seasoned. We shared the Bolognese gnocchi and a pizza. The Bolognese was creamy and gnocchi soft and pillowy. BEST thin crust pizza in the Midlands!!! We’ve tried a lot! Very fair prices, generous portions and incredible flavors.

We stopped on our way home. K found it on Google the reviews were great. We had a little drive off the interstate, no issues. The restaurant was in a plaza. It was beautifully decorated and had a relaxing vibe to it. We walked in, and the food smelled wonderful. I ordered the chicken and shrimp. Mom and K ordered a wood-fired pizza. The food was excellent !! We had been on vacation at the beach, and this was my favorite meal. The young man who was our waiter was fast and made sure we never needed anything. We also tried some desserts. They were expensive, yes, but worth every penny. If I were ever in the area, I would stop every time to try something new. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!
