Hands down, the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The food here isn’t just good; it’s shockingly great. Their road presence and outside advertisement doesn’t do them justice. “Pizzas & burgers”? This place is serving up art.
Every plate looks like something straight out of The Bear — that kind of plate where passion meets precision. The presentation, the flavors, the creativity… all dialed in.

Our family was looking for something to eat after my sister-in-law’s graduation. We are not from the area and stumbled across Lucas! We are so glad we did because our food was delicious and the service was OUTSTANDING! Patrick took care of us from the moment we walked in. He had the biggest smile on his face and was so warm and welcoming. It was as if we were guests in his home. The atmosphere is clean and adorable, too. I wish we lived closer because I would be a regular! Businesses like Lucas deserves all the customers. Customer Service is huge to me and he went above and beyond.

Went to the opening weekend for brunch at Luca’s Pizzeria in Bellmead. One word…DELICIOUS! Fist off, Patrick is wonderful! He greated us with a welcoming, happy energy. We had the Crème Brûlé Bites, Mexican Benedict, Vanilla Bean French Toast (all pictured), and Vegetable Hash (not pictured). All were wonderful! If you have made plans for Saturday brunch, cancel all plans and come here. If you don’t have brunch plans yet, you do now! Enjoy!

My husband and I just found a secret gem! They have the BEST breakfast we have had in a long time! The biscuits and gravy were phenomenal! I highly recommend if you are passing by during breakfast time stop in! The atmosphere was great, very clean and the service was personal and friendly.

Have to say this was a confusing visit. The atmosphere was awesome, super clean, with space to offer. The menu was very easy to read. So here’s what happened, so when we started to our we were told it would be about an hour for a pizzas, due to a large order they had. After a brief discussion, we placed an order for 1. 14″ Meat Market Pizza, but got & paid for a 20″ and 1 TX Philly Cheesesteak and 2 teas for $42. Since we were told it would take an hour, we left Bellmead to go to Central Texas Market Place as we got there. The Chep’s called us and told us the order was ready. We told them it’s would be 20 minutes and was told that was fine, it would be going out of the oven then. Well, the pizza wasn’t “fresh” it had been waiting for several minutes, see the photo. However, the TX Philly was very hot. The inside was like new , so that an automatic 5 star. I’m going to give the service a 5 stars. They were friendly and attentive, but a bit hyper, and I bit hard to understand at times. I’m giving the food 4 stars because all of it wasn’t present when it was made hot oven fresh.

Go see Patrick! He totally took care of us! We’ve been meaning to stop in and try this place since it’s conveniently located downtown Bellmead right on Bellmead Dr. Not too far from Baylor if you’re visiting Waco and want some really delicious food made with love! They did NOT disappoint! We ordered the pepperoni monkey bread with homemade marinara sauce! You are going to want 2 orderes of this stuff!!! Momma!!! So good!!!!
I ordered the catfish and shrimp plate which so happened to be on special that day! It was the best fried shrimp and catfish I’ve ever had! Perfectly fried and the batter was unexplainably delicious!!! Even the fries were delicious and flavorful! My bf ordered the New York chopped cheese sandwich! Absolutely handsome down DELICIOUS! Thank you to the chefs! Best service in a clean nice environment! This is now one of our favorite spots! I’m excited to try everything on the menu❤️

The food was very affordable, tasty, and definitely was enough to get full! On top of that, our waiter was hilarious and really made me and my wife feel comfortable eating at this place for the first time. I even messaged friends while I was there just to brag about the place and how quick they brought out our food. When we left the waiter asked us to come back. Definitely a hidden gem that should get more business
