High-end regional Italian cuisine served in a low-key space with spare but stylish decor.

The food was genuinely incredible — every dish was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. The drinks were also excellent, truly some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. Our server was attentive and kind, and overall the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
However, we did run into a couple of disappointing issues. My mother-in-law received a completely different dish than the one she ordered. When we let the staff know, the gentleman who brought out the food (white hair) said he would speak with the manager, but we never received any follow-up or acknowledgment after that. Mistakes happen, and that’s understandable — but communication and resolution are really important, especially in a hospitality setting, and it felt overlooked.
Additionally, the up-charges are noticeably steep. I understand rising costs and higher-quality ingredients, but at a certain point it would feel more transparent and fair to simply reflect those prices on the menu rather than adding multiple add-ons after the fact.
I’d still recommend the restaurant based on the food, drinks, and overall experience — truly delicious — but hope to see better communication around order issues and more straightforward pricing moving forward. With just a bit more attention in those areas, this place could easily be exceptional.

Food and service is amazing! BUT we left with a bad taste in our mouths when we were asked to leave (pun intended). I totally understand they are a small establishment and they had several reservations. If when we were seated we were told this we would have understood. We had met up with friends we hadn’t seen in over a year and were a bit disappointed we had to cut the night short

My fiancé and I came here for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. Our favorite Italian restaurant we’ve found so far in Denver. Not only was the food incredible, but the service was unmatched. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Great experience and attentive staff. Received a welcome drink, bread and complimentary cookies. Ordered the sausage and goat cheese pizza, burrata, and the mushroom pasta. Really tasty and great wine. Accommodated us even without a reservation.

I randomly found Luca while trying to make a reservation somewhere else—and I’m so glad I did. We went with the $75 Chef’s Tasting Menu, and honestly? Every single dish was excellent. Generous portions, amazing flavors, and a really well-paced experience.
Favorites included the house burrata, wild mushroom fusilli, and the braised short rib over polenta. Even the cocktails and dessert were top-tier. Zero misses.
The space is cozy and elegant with a rustic Italian vibe, and the service was thoughtful and kind from start to finish. Highly recommend booking the tasting menu if it’s your first time—it’s the perfect way to try a little bit of everything.
Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out!

We came here to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, and we absolutely loved the experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Chardonnay, which was a lovely touch. The service was spectacular from the moment we walked in the door.
We chose the “Taste of Luca,” which featured a variety of delicious dishes that truly impressed us. The staff even packed our leftovers without us needing to ask, and they made a point to inquire about our thoughts on each dish. To top it off, our waiter surprised my best friend with a complimentary drink for her birthday. Overall, it was an unforgettable celebration, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The food was some of the best we have eaten at any restarant! It was cool how the various servers would clear our plates and silverware in between each of the 4 plates / courses we ordered, wipe the table and reset new dishes. An excellent touch was the time taken to explain each of the dishes, what was in them and the time it takes to purists certain foods. Phenomenal really. I’m surprised the place is not nationally recognized. We were invited by a family member, and indeed it was perfect! Real food. Real ingredients… the people were amazing.

Our party of 4 was blown away by last night’s Cocoliche Spanish/Italian fusion dinner. Such delicious flavors, beautiful plating and lots of fun. The only negative was our disagreement on our favorite bite of the night: the Serrano ham, cheese and black truffle panini, or the patatas bravas with an amazing romesco sauce, or the pasta bolognese with spicy sausage and a sophisticated harissa sauce, or the dessert of basque cheesecake with rhubarb and fresh basil – – not to mention the pre-dessert (yes dessert is preceded by pre-dessert at Luca) of house made chocolate and banana swirl gelato or the seafood risotto paella. Chef’s kiss! Special thanks to the Luca team for accommodating one of our guest’s dietary needs even with this special pre-set menu.

Lovely neighborhood Italian restaurant, good service and high-end but not obscenely priced. The kitchen is excellent, the menu sufficiently varied without being overwhelming, and the bar is pretty good (small cocktail list, but good). Wines by the glass are good, by the bottle list is short and could stand to have some more age. Highly recommended.

Worth every penny (it’s pricey.) Service was unmatched, bolognese was best I’ve ever had, and everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. This place is a must-visit. Make reservations in advance; it’s quite small. They absolutely crushed Denver restaurant week.
