My wife and I used to eat at Luby’s when we first moved to Texas in the early 2000s. I don’t think I’ve eaten it once since at least 2010 maybe even earlier than that.
Recently, I’ve eaten at this Luby’s twice, both times takeout, and the food has been fantastic! I got the chopped cheese steak with bacon, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and a fantastic white yeast roll. The other time I got the fried fish with tartar sauce, Mashed potatoes with brown gravy, Mac and cheese, another delicious yeast roll, and green beans. Other than the green beans needing a little bit of salt, that was also a fantastic meal!
I personally don’t like dining at Luby’s because it gets quite loud, but then again I haven’t eaten inside one in 15 years so maybe that’s changed too!
I would definitely recommend this Luby’s and I will be going back soon.

Luby’s is always a great spot for a good meal. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, and the staff up front were friendly and welcoming. Service at the table could have been better—we didn’t get any refills. Overall food was good.

My wife and I love to come to Luby‘s. Their food is always tasty and already ready to eat. Besides, there’s not many places you can go to get liver and onions, which I personally love at Luby’s. My wife usually opts for the chicken or fish, and they have a great veggie selection as well as dessert options. We will be here on Thanksgiving day in just a few days just like we did last year. You just can’t beat Luby’s!

I love this Linus. The food is always hot and fresh. The servers are so attentive. I went today and they were out pico de gallo and my waitress Mrs. Kathy , the sweetest waitress I ever met went to ask the general manager to have them make more. He actually made the Pic especially for me and sent it to my table. Now that is Awesome customer service! Keep up the good work guys!

I’m a Lubys kinda gal since I was 3 its a family tradition to eat here every single time no disappointment at all. And I’ve been coming to this Luby’s for lunch for about two years, and I want to give a special shoutout to Jasmine at the drive-thru/register. She is always so kind, friendly, and welcoming every single visit. Her positive attitude truly makes my day and is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Jeriel is an outstanding manager. Even during an extremely busy shift, he remained calm, professional, and in full control of the restaurant. He works incredibly well with his staff, communicating clearly, supporting them, and keeping morale high despite the rush. It’s obvious that his leadership plays a huge role in how smoothly everything runs. He also took the time to make sure customers were taken care of, which really stood out. Excellent manager and great example of strong leadership.

We had a lovely server this past week named Hong that was so kind. I really appreciated her blessing us as she greeted us at the start of our meal. It’s always nice when someone takes the time to do something so personal. The food here is always tasty and the no frills atmosphere can’t be beat.

I randomly decided to eat at Luby’s since I haven’t had it in a while, normally I go to the Luby’s further down on 290 off Antione since the food is always fresh and I see them diligently toss out old or bad food.
I guess I shouldn’t have made that assumption for this Luby’s.
I ordered the Roasted Pork, looked nice and hot (false).
I asked the lady if I could have broccoli and cheese casserole, she says they don’t have that anymore.. ( I saw it was available on the app, so unless the app is lying, I’m not sure who to believe here.)
So I ended up just getting double Mac and cheese since the other sides looked dry, old, and extremely questionable.
I say down with my friend who ordered the Chicken Tenders, she said they were as hard as rocks and cold..
I got nervous about my food but nevertheless, began to dig in.
The roasted pork was lukewarm almost cold???
I continued through my meal and ended up just not finishing it.. Why? All of it was just FAT. I even tried ripping around the fat to no avail.
Are you kidding me?
I’m not one to go off about my food, but really??
The waiter came by twice to ask how we were doing, first time my friend and I requested ranch, which she brought quickly, when I tried to let her know (about my food) she literally WALKED AWAY from my mid sentence.
My friend and I left, and we both agreed this will be the last time we go to this Luby’s.
No wonder the Luby’s over near spring cypress closed, maybe it was the same issues.
