First visit…I’m staying at the nearby Springhill Suites so you can walk here. Fast & Friendly. Portions are generous. Tasty & delicious, pasta in my meatball w/ziti cooked al dante, nice. I got 4 meatballs and plenty of sauce.
Garlic bread was kinda not needed as the dish came with bread although without garlic so I’m happy. Salad was good too, no brown lettuce or other issues.
Try ’em out, I would return if in the area again.

We got the famous thin crust Margherita and the Sicilian . The thin crust was crispy , and the sauce they have on it tastes fresh a with a bunch of basil. The Sicilian is filling and buttery and crispy. Great pizza!

Quite possibly the best crust I’ve tried in NJ. The cheese was good but the sauce was non existent. Very light on the sauce but overall good pizza. Worth stopping in for a slice.

Stopped at Lubrano’s pretty late after a business meeting lasted all day. I was only in town for work. NY/NJ is famous for pizza so I figured id stop at the highest rated place I could find that was close to me (Somerset, NJ).
Lubrano’s started off on the right foot with their service. I was immediately greeted by incredibly polite staff who were patient with me as I did not know the menu. I ordered a deep-dish with the works, knowing I was not in Chicago, but I was hungry.
Lubrano’s took my order with pride and I sat down to wait. While I was waiting, I observed countless interactions of people coming in and out being friendly with the staff, as if they were family.
I didn’t wait for too long before my order was ready. It was piping-hot and looked gorgeous. The looks confirmed the taste. Ingredients were so fresh. So fresh in fact that at first it didnt taste like a pizza I would expect to get from a typical joint – covered in grease and fat. This pie tasted like what it was: Deep-dish dough, ripe tomato sauce, and fresh vegetables with pepperoni and sausage.
Thanks Lubrano’s for pleasantly surprising this outsider. If I ever get to come back to Somerset I’ll be back.

Great tasting pizza! Would recommend for small or large group to dine in or take out. Fresh topping on the slice pizzas are available upon ordering.

Excellent family owned pizzeria. Good variety of choices including vegetarian and gluten free. Loved the Vegetable wrap…contained a large wrap with a variety of sauteed veggies and cheese, as big around as my fist, and with fresh salad. Very reasonably priced. Nice people.

Stopped into this place for lunch a couple times now and I’ve been super impressed both times. The first time my partner and I came in, we were taking a while to look at a menu and even though they had signs saying “no table service,” a super nice young person came out and took our order and brought the food out to us. So far we’ve tried a few sandwiches, a calzone, and their calamari, and not only were the portions HUGE (my large sandwich was like 2 whole sandwiches, and the small calzone was enormous) but the food was clearly made with care and tasted great. Exactly what you want from an Italian place like this, and I still have to try their pizzas but I already know we’re gonna be regular customers here! Thank you to everyone who made our experience here so great, we see the passion and we can’t wait to come back 🙂

Order baked ziti with grill chicken and this is what I received… when I called back the next day I wasn’t given a friendly response or even care about the dinner. I was given an option to get a salad since my dinner on the menu came with a salad and the cashier forgot to accompany it. But the cashier didn’t care to ask me if I will tip instead they gave themselves a tip my total was $40.00 and the last cashier (Indian or indigenous man) tip himself without asking me first. I arrived late to pick up my dinner because I worked extra hours that night but imagine if I didn’t pick up this food and cooked at home I would have received this oddity. Don’t get me wrong I ordered from the in the past with the lovely Italian woman who works in the front now she’s not there and it’s not the same. I called back to speak to the manager and he wasn’t so nice not even understanding. So I will not order from here again. Thanks for absolutely nothing .. no customer care I even apologized for the food being undesirable because it’s life things happen people have good days and bad ones but the lack of empathy is so unacceptable especially when the food does not look healthy.

Above average pizza, rate it 7.5 out of 10. The Philly one of the best I’ve had 9.4 out of 10. Would be 5 stars but the guy at the counter, seemed new charged me for a large when I got the small. Seemed high when I paid, not offered a reciept, thought about it all day then did the math with tax. I was overcharged. Would definitely go back, but would watch what I get charged.
