One of those happy occasions when you’re looking forward to eating at a restaurant and it exceeds your expectations. For me, this was the best dining experience I had on my recent visit to Germany. Good ingredients, of the season and region, cooked and presented with skill. The service was exceptional. It was formal but relaxed and friendly at the same time. I’ll definitely come back to Lübeck in the summer and will definitely come back here.

Set in a very quaint, very antique hotel with original woodwork and decor, it is a very classy place to enjoy your dinner. Super-friendly and accommodating service. The food was amazing with beautiful presentation and good suggested wine pairing. Be sure to try the desserts.
