Great food, my siblings and I all enjoyed it. The soy cutlets were our favorite appetizer, highly recommend those. All our entrees were tasty as well. Our favorites were the orange chicken and general tso’s protein. I have a large appetite but I left satisfied. The place is dimly lit, and a little small but no complaints. I would definitely go here for lunch if I was in the area

At the corner of Mulberry and Broom, a little Italy, you will find an amazing little vegan corner. What could be better than a bowl of soup to warm up when it’s -4? I recommend the Miso soup

Came for lunch and it became my favorite vegan spot in NYC! The lunch set was super affordable and came with a lot of food. Would totally recommend the general tsos and sweet and sour tofu. The vegan dishes are amazing and this place has the meatiest tofu I’ve ever tasted! Will definitely be back next time I’m in New York.

This was our first time trying LuAnne’s and it was a great experience. The place is super cute and the staff is really nice. We LOVED the eggplant in sweet basil sauce, the pad thai, and the mango soy in garlic plum sauce (both sweet and saucy and delicious). The pho was also really good but there was a lot of noodles for the amount of broth. The mango raw thai salad was not our favorite but not bad and we didn’t like the stir fried prosperity platter – it was a little bland. Would definitely come again and try different things!

Small little vegan spot. Nice for lunch. Staff welcoming and friendly. The bathroom is very small and dark, but there is a bathroom.

came here the first time on my birthday, and later that month on my wedding day, so i might be biased but this is one of the greatest vegan restaurants in nyc. their ramen blew my mind, and their tempura everything is succulent without being oily. i can’t wait for the next special occasion to go back and try more from their extensive menu – highly recommend!

Overall Meh.
* I didn’t like my food very much hear. I had Teriyaki Seitan, the problem was that the sauce was too sweet and salty at the same time. Almost too strong and it overpowered all the other tastes.
* I give 5 star for the autmosphere. It’s a dingy and quiet place which is hard to find in that neighborhood.
* The service was OK, not a lot of customers so easier to serve. The waitress was polite but not very helpful (especially for people new to Thai or vegan food).
* The prices are reasonable. $20 to $30 If you don’t order a drink.

We visited this restaurant with friends, eager to try something new. As someone who isn’t vegan but enjoys exploring different cuisines, I approached this experience with an open mind. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant, which made for a welcoming start. Located in a bustling area, it’s definitely in a prime spot.

When it came to the food, I have to be honest—I would rate the bibimbap a 5 out of 10. I’m a big fan of Korean cuisine and particularly love bibimbap, but this version didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It was also my first (and probably last) time trying tofu skin wraps. On a positive note, the portions are generous, so you certainly won’t leave hungry.

While I may not return, I think this place is worth checking out if you’re vegan. It offers a different take on some classic dishes, and you might just find your new favorite meal.

A great dinner at Asian-vegan, LuAnne’s Wild Ginger, in Soho.

We shared several small plates: grilled miso eggplant, BBQ seitan skewers, summer rolls, and scallion pancakes.

This is one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had. And the service is excellent too.

This wasn’t my favorite vegan meal. While I appreciate the effort, the mock meat we had was was dense and chewy, sauces were on the sweeter side, gravy flavor wasn’t balanced and the samosas were more like small thin savory pastries rather than the traditional Indian ones. The wild rice, though healthier, wasn’t the best complement to the gravy. The japchae was the only dish I really liked. I was hoping this would be a go to option for us with multiple locations in the city, but sadly no. It took a long time to get to us and when lukewarm and needs to be reheated, changes the texture and consistency.
