Nick Amoroso, owner and operator of la Padella restaurant and bar in Upper Providence, Media has teamed up with his cousin and best friend Tom to offer Fresh Ingredients and Friendly Service to an already established landmark. Both Nick and Tom are graduates of the Restaurant School in Philadelphia and their dream has always been to open restaurants of their own. Before the creation of LP’s Burgers and More Tom worked in management for a large restaurant group and Nick has been self-employed since 2003 owning two beer stores before opening la Padella in 2017. This partnership came at the perfect time in their lives and together they are thrilled to bring another successful restaurant to the great town of Upper Providence, Media.

I think this quaint cafe/restaurant is the best kept secret in Upper Providence Township. Anything and everything on this menu is delicious. From salads to burgers and milkshakes the food is fresh and everything is spotless. Katie, the manager, is always smiling! And, for the best onion rings on the planet order from here. Delicious!
NOTE: This location is no longer Wimpy’s. It is under new ownership and management and is fabulous.

Around 4 or 5 small tables( for 2) and 1 ( for 4). out side has some tables too.

This place is great. Super fast (and accurate) order prep. Always friendly. We order from them once or twice a month, and have always been satisfied. The Texas dog is amazing, the burgers and cheeesesteaks are always top notch. Large portions for my large appetite!! AAA+++

This place is Wimpy’s Original, but under new management and rebranded. The food is still good and the staff is still nice which is a solid sign considering how awesome Wimpy’s was. The menu is different than it was before, but in my opinion it’s more balanced and they still offer all the core items like fries, burgers, and cheesesteaks. The one thing I don’t like are the prices since they all went up, but they’re not unreasonable (except the $6.50 milk shakes..) so it’s really no big deal. All in all this is still a fantastic place for burgers and cheesesteaks and I will be back soon!

Dry. Burger was dry. Fries were a overdone so dry. Hot dog was mediocre. Freezer brunt ice cream. I’m super surprised by all the high reviews. Friendly service though. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

I just picked up dinner here for the first time and I’m writing this review halfway through my meal. The cheesesteaks are PERFECT. The Onion rings are something you would order before the electric chair. Last but not least, it has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever seen. Hello cholesterol meds!

If I could put negative stars I would! To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The burger seemed to be a pre-made frozen burger like a Bubba burger. The flavor was minimal and bland. My girlfriends cheese steak was a 3 out of 10 and probably made of steakems. This place should do us all a favor and close its doors. If you want a better burger just go to McDonald’s.

All of the onion rings tasted really good for $7 a portion size was very small especially since they put it in this big box and it was like maybe seven rings in there seven or eight little rings I should have took a picture but probably won’t go back for that

Nice place to eat, burgers and fries are delicious and my wife loved the chocolate milkshake. I loved the cream fountain soda, first time ever seeing cream soda as a choice on a fountain soda machine.
