We always visit Lox of Bagels when we travel to New York. The bagels are HUGE and yummy. They slather on the cream cheese. I love the breakfast bagel sandwiches. Everything is so fresh. Service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is rustic. Eating outside is nice too.

Good bagels, but don’t get a coffee if you’re a cappuccino connoisseur, you might think the cappuccino machine they have would put out cappuccino, but you’d be wrong! Sickeningly sweet French vanilla or hot chocolate or something else sweet. Not for me!

The reviews here are pretty good and I would mostly agree with them however their version of a toasted Bagel is only slightly warmed up and still chewy. When I order a toasted bagel I expect there to be a little bit of crunch on the surface so they should probably turn up their toaster temperature.

Lox of bagels is that perfect stand alone local place. The kind of place that you walk up and order at, and its always mobbed. They have quick efficient service. They definitely know how to make quality foods! Best known for their bagels, they are super fresh and done right! I love their bacon too I always get a side of it! They also have a great lunch menu.

We picked up a few bagels passing through, as well as a piece of crumb cake. The staff was pleasant enough. At home, the crumb cake had some seriously off flavors, like old freezer/cooler. My wife didn’t want to finish it, and I was still tasting it an hour later.
The bagels had the same off flavors, but to a lesser extent (less fats in the food to absorb the flavors, plus masked a bit by making it a sandwich). They would have been decent otherwise, but I probably wouldn’t risk it again.

Always was a big fan of lox and bagels but recently I noticed a price jump which I understand but they also don’t list the prices. The sandwich was thinner than I remembered and it did have a slight off flavor.
