Lowrider Cafe is my husband’s and my favorite place to get authentic Mexican street tacos and other absolutely delicious Mexican food. Chill, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I have loved everything I’ve ordered there. One of my favs is the crunchy papi. I normally order 2 or 3 tacos and crunchy papi is always one of them. We also love their fresh made tortilla chips and guac.
It’s our favorite lunch date spot and we often pop in to the library across the street to get a book afterwards.

Burger was very small for 12 (14$ with tip no fries or drink so just the burger for 14$) and called “avalanche”. It was good but no bigger than a $5 hamburger somewhere else. There was nothing “avalanche” about it, My first time trying this place so I was a little disappointed but I gave it a few Stars since it did taste okay.

It was my first time, I’m here to reccommend a visit when your hungry for an authentic Mexican meal. The menu selection is vast. And because of this I will be returning. They are located directly across the main front door of the downtown Library. Hours 9a.m., breakfast to closing at 3:00 p.m. When I walked in, the aroma and flavors in my nose and tongue was nostalgic reminder of my childhood in my mom’s kitchen. What day is we can only bring back with meals from a ginuine cook. Check out their menu, prepare your budget and give yourselves a delicious just like moms cooking once a month Again PERHAPS, a Sunday Champagne Brunch menu This year will be a Thing.
BTW the owner offers a 7 buck Pay It Forward meal opportunity for the less fortunate in our Toledo Community (donation Tithing type reveal) Perfect for our Sunday Believers ️

Absolutely loved this place; the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Overall, this place was such a vibe, from the decor to the music; it is definitely a hidden little gem in Toledo. I highly recommend the chorizo scramble, as it was delicious. The breakfast, overall, was just slappin’. If you haven’t tried it, definitely give it a shot!

Jamison and I had A great experience at this restaurant. The music was great, the service was great, and the food was great. The server and cook was very personable and down to earth. This has became one of my favorite restaurants now. My husband and I will definitely be back to enjoy this experience again. It gives you a Puertorican feel.

The service was amazing. Our server was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. I asked her favorite dish, she suggested the homies bfast bowl. I was not let down, it was perfection! Also a perfect hangover cure!
My only disappointment is I’m seeing previous reviews and pictures about special coffees, but I didn’t know or see anything about special coffee. I’ll just have to ask next time I go.

I’ve been there 2 times. The first time all was good. 2nd time not so much. I use a walker and I had taken a bus to the library and got done early with time before my bus to take me home came back. I went in to low rider was very nice but kept insisting I couldn’t pay for my pop. She said it was my lucky day. I accepted and thanked her. When it was time to get back outside for my bus,I got up to leave and a guy also there eating just shook his head at me in disgust. I didn’t have time to stop and talk to him. I know the girl and that old man assumed I was a homeless person because I had a bag full of books hanging off my walker. I felt like crap for weeks when I got home. I won’t be coming back. I went there to begin with because my good friend is cousins with the owner and she thought I would like it. I did like the food,she introduced me to the owner and he was very nice,but I won’t be treated this way. I was so offended!
