The menu is full of winners. The pasta is all made fresh in-house, and we absolutely loved the sausage and rigatoni; it had great flavor! The beef carpaccio was very delicious, and we almost ordered a second plate! To top it off, the cocktail with the cucumber was made perfectly and was wonderfully refreshing.
We did order the burger but the food took so long we got full on the prior small bites so we were able to cancel it as it did not make it to get cooked.
Also the celery salad is a must try. It was delicious. Did not know what to expect but definitely was good.
We ordered the oysters, and while they were super fresh, they were a bit saltier than the sweeter oysters I prefer, but they were still good overall. We were thoroughly impressed and will be back again for sure!
They have an extensive curated wine collection and custom cocktails, but we had Pellegrino and the creative “Psychedelic Sally” mocktail. Fantastic flavors!
The food was outstanding top to bottom. The celery salad is a standout. The crunch of the celery and walnuts contrasts perfecly with the figs and crumbled cheese. The beef tartare was amazing as well, with chips to scoop with. My daughter loved the yellowfin tuna crudo appetizer. The pork schnitzel was a large portion lightly batter fried to perfection accompanied by field peas and escarole. The grouper was firm, “steaky” and the best I’ve ever had! Served with creamed corn and fingerling potatoes. Chef Dion does an exceptional job with matching flavors and textures-you can see and taste the preparation that goes into every dish The Granny Smith apple hand pies with whipped cream were to die for! My daughter had a super rich flavorful butterscotch pudding-amazing!! Coffee was outstanding and served in a large stoneware cup.
Our server Mackenzie was delightful. She appeared at just the right times. We never felt rushed. And several other servers appeared with our dishes right on cue. Everyone was friendly and you I could feel a good vibe permeating the restaurant. The managers Davis and Michael were very friendly and came over several times to check on us.
It was a great dining experience all around. Ambience, food and service all top notch! Highly recommend and will be returning!
Atmosphere is 4 stars only because the whole restaurant unfortunately stunk like body odor (hit with it as soon as we stepped through the doors) during our particular visit; and I’m assuming that’s not something that regularly happens.
The highlight of the evening for me was actually the mocktail. I ordered the Phycodelic Sally, and it was hands-down the best mocktail I’ve ever had—such a refreshing and unique flavor.
As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The beef tartare was tasty, but the portion was so tiny it left us wanting more. The rigatoni pasta, however, was absolutely incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pork schnitzel was good, but nothing particularly memorable. The burger had great, juicy meat, but the bun was a little dry and the fries were unfortunately overdone.
Overall, the experience was still very enjoyable thanks to the atmosphere, service, and that unforgettable mocktail. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re looking for great drinks and a lively vibe.
