Honey, I showed up to Stowe expecting flannel pine cones and people who hike on purpose. Thought I’d be forced to drink maple syrup out of a wooden shoe.
Instead, I found the Lower Bar and Tori, an absolute saint behind the bar! I sauntered up basically sober (a medical emergency) and Tori just knew. No weak pours here. This legend served up Kettle vodka drinks with straight up Bellagio high roller generosity: heavy handed vodka, splash of club soda, fresh lime.
Normally I’d start the day with a Xanax smoothie, but Tori’s mixology saved my life.
Pro tip: Find Tori first (ignore the moisture wicking crowd), watch the magic happen, and thank the universe you’re not strapped to skis.
The Lower Bar is doing the Lord’s work. Five stars for Tori!

The place had some of the best vibes in the area! We went to several different hang outside and this was all around our favorite. They had some awesome and friendly staff as well as some of the best bar food to snack out while we were chilling out.
Thanks for the awesome experience!

In state? Out of state? Out of country? Out of world? It won’t matter. Lower Bar consistently hits hard above its weight. Have been a patron for about 5 years now and I could not ask for a more welcoming and inclusive environment to enjoy a few drinks. Also – the nachos deserve a platinum medal of some kind. Lower Bar rocks and I wish them all the best always, great owner and great staff. Check them out. 1,000,000/10.

We had a large group staying in Stowe for Thanksgiving. We went out mid afternoon on Saturday to grab some drinks and to watch football. We found Lower Bar and we all agreed that the folks running this place were beyond friendly and accommodating. Great cocktails, beers, and snacks. Super comfy spot with a fun and chill atmosphere. Lower Bar is upper level.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Lower Bar.
I was cashed out three separate times and charged four additional unexpected fees charging for all I’ve paid again. When I reviewed my bank statement, I noticed multiple duplicate and extra charges totaling over $160
I immediately contacted them and asked for a clear explanation and proof of what each charge was for. They were unable to provide proper documentation or a clear breakdown of the charges.
Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I received vague excuses and no accountability. As a paying customer, I expect transparency, accurate billing, and clear communication.
Being overcharged multiple times is unacceptable. This situation was handled poorly and left a very bad impression.
I will not be returning.

Our favorite spot for beers, cocktail and bites in Stowe. The atmosphere is super laid back, the staff is kind, the drinks are great as are the nachos!! We visit multiple times when in Stowe for a happy hour beverage or a nightcap!

Good bar. Definitely crowded after the mountain and clears out around 445. Definitely could use some more staff during the rush. Plenty of space and decent central Stowe location. Would recommend if doing a Stowe bar crawl.

I passed this place for a week before I decided to go in. I was pleasantly surprised that it is bigger on the inside than it appears from the street. The bartender was absolutely phenomenal. I went with Tito’s, 7 up, Lime and the pretzel bites. I highly recommend stopping in.

The margarites were great, and the chicken tacos were amazing – one of the best meals/snacks we’ve had in Stowe.

Probably the best little bar in the area (and we did a good job of bar hoppin).
Didn’t try the food, but by far the best cocktails In all of Stowe.
