There were too many fries, and the coleslaw was not very good.
I was the only customer at 11:15 AM on a Saturday. The tables were high and the benches were too short and it was uncomfortable.
The atmosphere is dingy and very small. Since I was the only customer it would’ve been nice if they would’ve asked me what I want to watch on TV, especially the pre-college football game shows.
I was charged three dollars for not a Coke, but a Pepsi. I was ignored the entire time until I was ready to go and then the waitress said oh do you want more to drink?
She should have asked, halfway through my mail she should’ve just blocked me another one, especially when a three dollars each!!! Such a rip off!
I was assuming they would have a lunch special of some type.
The menu is limited. Interior small, and they just long tables like a cafeteria in a jail. I would not want to go in when it’s busy it’ll be crammed up against other people, especially when there is not room between the front windows and the first row of benches.
Just was not a pleasant experience!!
They had a nice selection of beer. Blackened scallops were phenomenal, as well as all the sauces that the food was served with. The only menu item that didn’t srove a single point was the coleslaw: none of us liked it, unfortunately.
The price could have been less than what it was. It was a little expensive for what I ordered. They take a gratuity of 18% and they also asked for a tip. if you pay with a card, it is two dollar up charge if you pay with cash then it is two dollars down charge with the gratuity.
I will compare this place to Gilligan’s without the red rice it is a more expensive place, but the outing was nice.
