Welcome! We’re Low and Slow – a BBQ fast food restaurant in Bristol. Our new site on Whiteladies Road opened on 31st May 2021, and it’s been amazing ever since! Offering the people of Bristol with delicious BBQ goods is what we know and what we do best. If you fancy it (we’re sure you will), come down and see us!

Ordered a larger plate for 12 pounds. Mac n cheese was alright, brisket was a bit on the drier side (maybe because I came at a none peak hour) but HOLY the pulled pork was amazing. They had a multiple sauces to choose from aswell, went with their mustard that balances out the meaty flavours that come with barbecue

Visited for the first time on a Saturday at 2.15pm.
Had to queue but didn’t need to wait long.
Ordered the Barbecue Box XL. £16.50.
Service was good, friendly and speedy.
The food was delicious.

So disappointing was expecting so much more the food was very bland ! We got the barbecue box and an Xl one too. My box nothing had no taste the saving grace was the Texas toast. My g/f and son had the Xl box and the only thing that had any flavour was the chicken. Sorry for scathing but honest review…

Sensational food!! Lovely staff. Absolutely loved it!! The value for money is through the roof here!! Its a pretty small spot & constantly rammed (understandable ofc) so if you are dining in, send a mate in to grab a table before getting your food

Veryy busy, especially with takeout orders & deliveroo. Queue was moving slowly. We had to wait 20 minutes for our turn. However, once you place the order you get served within 5 minutes.
Another problem is that they use the same cutting board for all meats. For religious reasons i don’t eat pork but eat beef and chicken, so this makes it a bit tricky. We ordered two beef brisket boxes with seasoned fries, mac n cheese, & garlic toast.
Fries were my fav side, brisket was extremely well cooked, and the house barbecue sauce + chipotle were quite good.
I kept on tasting a weird flavour in the beef may be it was just rendered fat, but i would’ve liked it better without it. Mac n cheese was just okay, found it a little underwhelming. Toast was okay too.
We paid a total 25£, inc a can of soft drink.
All in all a good texan style meal on a rainy day.

We had lunch here today and it was fab! We went for the Barbecue Banquet which serves 2 people for £32.95. All the meat had incredible flavour and we loved that we could choose from a range of sides as well. The garlic Texas toast is also UNREAL!! The guys serving were super friendly and we can’t wait to come back!

Great food (normally), but useless experience twice now on uber eats. A 2 hour wait then canceled order. First world problems for sure, however we’re spoilt for choice in Bristol. Once I can understand, twice not so much. Try phoning the restaurant continuously and just goes through to answer machine.

We got the munch box and it isn’t worth the money. We ordered in the shop and while we were waiting meat splashed on us. Also the food was bland (mostly just salt), gravy wasn’t liquid, we thought the brisket burger would be slices of brisket but it was pulled and didn’t taste good, chicken was dry, and meat doesn’t have bbq taste the flavour comes from the heavy amount of sauce. Wouldn’t spend the £37 again.

I’ve been to a few good Texas style bbq places and this tops them all! Never had burned ends that taste that good. Speedy friendly service and really reasonable price. The BBQ box XL is more than enough for one person
