After a bad experience with Uber eats… (ordered food from Low and Slow) Low and Slow Smokehouse picked up the ball from where it fell (uber dropped said ball). I called the restaurant and they were so kind and fealt bad about my experience and offered to make it better. And they did. This was my first time purchasing from this restaurant. I was looking forward to the experience. Well 2 weeks later we made another attempt, but picked up ourselves. The staff was super kind and accommodating. The food is seasoned and smoked to perfection. The atmosphere is calming but also fun. The smell as you walk in is very aromatic and pleasant. The air is consumed with the smokey smell of good food. I will definitely be coming back. Not only did they step up and fix something that wasnt theirs to fix… they went above and beyond with good food and excellent customer service. I do not recommend Uber Eats… but I highly recommend Low and Slow Smokehouse. You will not regret it. Thank you!

Fried pickles were really good thin,crispy and flavorful. Pulled pork sandwich was very moist and tasty pair well with their peach bbq sauce but the mac and cheese was dry and could use a lot more cheese the noodles were well seasoned but it was lacking cheese flavor and classic Mac and cheese texture.

We have eaten here a few times once for the dinner buffet and once for a regular meal. Both times the food was fantastic and whoever make the peach cobbler deserves a raise. Outstanding first time eating at Low and Slow! I got the baked potato with pulled pork and my brother got the nachos and both were delicious. Bridget was a fantastic server and elevated our experience by being pleasant and knowledgeable. Will absolutely be eating here again.

Laid back atmosphere with the best steaks in Polk. By far. I had the tomahawk and was absolutely impressed. The chef (Jonas) cooked them perfectly and our waitress Hannah was fantastic. This place is a must if you haven’t tried it yet.

Low and Slow Smokehouse is hands down one of the best barbecue spots I’ve ever been to! The food was absolutely amazing—especially the ribs, which were perfectly smoked, tender, and literally falling off the bone. Every bite was packed with rich, smoky flavor, and you could tell the meat was cooked with care.

The most amazing BBQ! The corn bread is like a light cake, yummy! Our family of four with a grandson shared the Texas Size Sampler and the Texas Trinity! Everything was prepared deliciously and I can’t believe I am saying this the sausage was my favorite but that does not diminish how wonderful all of the food was! The Green beans, collards , french fries, coleslaw and beans !!!!! What is really cool is they start you off with Pork Rinds with a really nice seasoning. Summer,our server, was a delight. Very knowledgeable about the food and very attentive! Highly recommend if you love BBQ this North Carolina Style BBQ is some of the best if not the best I have ever had!
