I was a bit apprehensive as I’ve gone 30 without eating meat that I don’t like meat alternatives. The menu was pretty much all some kind of alt plant protein so I just went for it.
I had the Original Grilled Burrito with protein strips. It was really tasty, the protein strips freaked me out, but it was all good. I really liked the eggplant sauce. I really liked the fries that came with it too.
My wife had the American Panini. She loves coleslaw, couldn’t pass that up. She’s not afraid of meat alternatives like I am. The panini has Tofurky on it. She said she’s going to pick that stuff up at the store now. She wants to make her own version of the American Panini. She really enjoyed her meal.
We shared a slice of cheesecake (not the raw one) topped with a strawberry sauce. It was excellent! I love a good vegan cheesecake and this one was that. It was so good I wish I had the rest of the cheesecake to take with me.
It’s not a place. It’s pretty clean but defenitly some spots missed. The fan above the register is really dirty and had me a bit concerned when we first walked in. I’m glad we went ahead and ordered though, that would have been a mistake to miss this place.
One last thing. We both got ice water which was served in these nice little cups with lids. The water was good but the ice was fantastic. My wife loves chomping on ice. This ice was super soft and she said it was the best she’s had. I’d like to know what kind of ice maker they use.
I ordered a lot of food to try and wasn’t disappointed with anything.
The Wings and Soup combo seemed strange in my mind but made total sense once I ate it. I ordered the Golden Soup as kind of an after thought but It ended up being one of my favorite things. One of the best soups I’ve ever had.
The wings were crispy and spicy. Full of flavor.
The cheesesteak and fries were also great. The bread was awesome. Being from philly I wouldn’t really consider this to be a cheesesteak (the “meat” was sweet), but it’s a really unique and delicious. Fries were golden and crispy.
Spring rolls were nice and crisp with great filling.
The drink selection here was also incredible.
They even have vegan jerky!
Already looking for an excuse to come back to town to come back here.
