Absolute Gem of a location. Me and my Girlfriend came in from Rhode Island for a comedy show. She found it as a little hole in the wall but the food is unreal. Pizza is phenomenal. Atmosphere is chill, calm, and relaxed. They have this super cute banner up for Tuesday night dinner for 4 which seems like a cute locals thing. And one of the cooks’ wife had came in with the daughter to eat dinner and he very kindly took time to sit with his daughter during dinner. Was lovely to see.

I remember Loveys Pizza growing up in Parsippany. I used to run there to get a slice. It started on one side of the street and then ended up a few years later across the street in the old Hershey Ice Cream shop. The Pizza was good then and it is still good in Morris Plains. I love how they occupy the corner spot on the street, just like back in the day. The pizza parlor becomes a fabric of the neighborhood. Based on all of the local sports memorabilia in the Pizzeria, they still support the local sports teams. Now on to the Pizza. I really went in undetected to get my slice, which was piping hot, and needeed a long time to cool. This made it tough to evaluate the slice as I had to work around it. The crust is the star of the show. Nice crunch and it keeps the Pizza in place, there is no Flop on a Loveys slice. The cheese was good and provided a good ratio with the sauce. It was a solid 4 stars. The parlor just opened so everyone was busy, so I didnt get the chance to talk pizza with them. Though, I think they will be in the semi finals in Morris County on Pizza Hunters App, which would me we would visit again. Great Job Lovey’s.
