The food is always good here and the portions are more than enough. I have ordered from here on several occasions and never had a bad experience. From the servers to the food they make you want to come back. This place is a bit on the pricey side, but the food definitely makes up for it. I ordered the fried shrimp with red rice and green beans. This is something I always order and it has always been good.

We arrived just after they opened. We were given the options of where to sit…with a view that was really nice. Evidently, we chose the wrong room and the people we came in with who were close enough for us to see had drinks at their table and their meal ordered before we even saw a waitress. Once she showed up, things were great, but we sat for 15-20 minutes before this happened. I put it to them just opening. We ordered 2 sandwiches and sides. I went with the blackened mahi-mahi and the wife had the chicken. Mine was a little overcooked, but good flavors. The sauce for it and the salad were awesome…and tasted freshly made. The side salad I had fresh veggies and my wife’s okra was tasty and crisp. If we had not sat so long without anyone checking on us, I would have given this place a 5 star rating. I still think the issue was the restaurant just opening and us being in the back room with only one other table…which was finishing their meal. We will be back. I understand blackened fish no matter what kind is hard to cook without being a little dry and overcooked. The flavors were good and again, the sauce made up for it.

I’ve been living in Georgia for 3 years now and always wanted to visit this Restaurant, I’m glad I did. The food was fresh and hot. The tartar sauce was yummy and the hush puppies were golden and perfect. They served my friend and I so much food that the box barely closed and we were both able to stuff ourselves and have enough left over for the next day. I really recommend this place.

The view was amazing, beautiful location. The food was delicious. The hush puppies were just fantastic and we enjoyed the fried white shrimp also. We didn’t love the fried flounder. The alligator fingers were also really good! Service was awful. We walked in and had to greet the hostess ourselves before being told to hang out for a minute while she checked for a table. The place wasn’t busy, we could see lots of tables… our waitress was extremely impatient and had us order drinks before getting to look at the menu at all. She stood with her as crossed while my husband read the drink list. After about 2 more minutes she asked if we were ready to order. We got an appetizer and she took our entree order before it came. We ordered and asked which sides we should try. She said pick two… we asked if there was anything that was really good that we should try and she just kinda shrugged and insisted that we return the menu. The entrees came before we finished the appetizer, and she hovered over us asking if everything was good before we even got to try it. We finished and she asked if we were interested in dessert. We probably would have been if we’d been able look at the menu a little longer. When we asked for to-go boxes that was an inconvenience too. My husband asked if we could pay up front and she said, “no you gotta pay me” then brought the check. While my husband was pulling out his wallet she said, “can I take that now or not”. Just felt like all the staff was miserable. Beautiful restaurant and location, just terrible vibes from the employees.

We visited on a Thursday evening. We were quickly seated and dined al fresco with a great river view. Our server, Alesha, was prompt, courteous and answered all our questions. I had the catfish filets with hush puppies and sides of french fries and okra. My wife chose the Georgia white shrimp with hush puppies and sides of french fries and coleslaw. The food was delicious and the sides were prepared perfectly! The food was brought to the table in a fair amount of time and served hot – as it should be. You should come hungry if you plan on finishing your meal. We brought some home to enjoy later.

We went from our rental place in Tybee Island to go to eat here on 4/15/23, based on recommendation from a friend. I will definitely be back when we come to Savannah again. The food was outstanding! Our service was good as well.

We’re visiting from out of town and happened upon Love’s since it’s close to our rental. We were tired after a long drive and this place was perfect. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. We sat on the patio with our two dogs at sunset. Wine and beer list was decent and the food was fantastic. Our server was super sweet. It was casual and comfortable and not at all pretentious which is what we needed.

Nice restaurant in Richmond Hill Area. Located on the river with a nice view. Staff was friendly when we arrived, we were seated promptly, many menu selections, mostly seafood. Our selections were prepared well and very tasty. Best part was our server Tyler. He was attentive and worked hard, made sure we were happy. Definitely will go back!

Visited Richmond Hill for a long weekend & had Love’s food all three days, and can honestly say that everything we ate was yummy. The crab cakes are almost all crab meat, delicious! The stuffed flounder was nearly the size of the plate & covered with seafood stuffing, the hush puppies are fantastic, really flavorful batter that is crispy on the outside but light & fluffy inside. My slow-baked potato was creamy inside with an awesome crispy skin, and the Cole slaw was just the right amount of sweet & creamy but still light & very fresh. We also enjoyed the spicy shrimp wrap and the blackened Mahi sandwich. All of the staff we’d encountered were very sweet, polite and efficient. Looking forward to returning next time we’re in the area!
