Really great pulled pork is what we ordered today. There’s beans were great, with just a bit of onion and bell pepper. There’s beans slaw was a short shred mayonnaise base just perfect for a bbq sandwich meal Two type of sauce but I only tried the regular. Canned and bottled drinks. Two outdoor picnic tables for fair weather seating. No inside seating. There are some deserts but we didn’t get into that today. One of the few places you can actually see the smokehouse operation.

At tha ca’wash! Woo Woo. Tha Ca’WASH! Better than Rendezvous by a country mile.
No lie. Best BBQ in town. This place is in my top 3 spots.
Sweet muddy Memphis BBQ the way it’s supposed to be. Ribs are fall off the bone good. The pulled pork tender and juicy.
But tonight is Chili.. only available in the winter.
Their Saturday menu is down home cooking good. Get the sweet potato casserole, it will make you slap yourself.
Pros: It’s Oakland owned, good food, friendly staff, fair price point, good size portions.
Cons: no dine-in, closes early.

We lived in Oakland for 5 years, always intended to stop by here, but never had. We didn’t know what we were missing. We just had the regular pork BBQ sandwiches, baked beans, and baked potato salad. It has to be some of the best in the area. The meat was smoky and tender. The buns were toasted and didn’t fall apart. The beans were not watery with just enough sweetness and smokiness. And, we’re not sure what was on the potato salad but it might not be legal . It was too good!

How have I lived in Memphis for 25 years and never been here?! This has to be the best ribs I’ve ever had, fall off the bone, melt in your mouth delicious! Also a must try is the baked potato salad, I could eat a gallon of that stuff.

This is a great place to pick up food! The barbecue, baked beans and barbecue sauce are all delicious. I know they have slaw and different types of potato salad as well but have not gotten to try those myself.

Everything was absolutely scrumptious! It was some of the best bbq I’ve tasted away from my home state of Texas. I was craving bbq from home and this absolutely hit the spot! and I smell it all the time outside! Man it is so tender and juicy! The flavor is smoky and perfectly seasoned as well! You can tell how much love and work goes into their food. May God bless your business greatly!
