What a wonderful spot. We had a pleasant experience. Got beet salad, carrot soup, and mushroom pizza. Also ordered a housemade soda and two scoops of ice cream. It was a bit of a pricier end, but we felt like the attentive service and quality of food, and the creativity were somewhat worth the price. However, wished that they offered a bit more protein to the dishes.

This place was recommended by a friend for my first time in Portland & it did not disappoint! The pizza was delicious. Some of the best I’ve had for sure. The dough was light & airy without being chewy. Pleasant & not too thin. It didnt feel like a chunk of bread while eating & gave way to enjoy the toppings. Perfectly crunchy crust *chef’s kiss* I had the golden potato two ways. Definitely recommend! Their homemade ranch was also very good. Light and refreshing. Save room for some of their ice cream too! Recommend the buckwheat honey with nuts. Its rich but not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and provided great service. A little bit of a wait to be seated (about 20mins) but it was worth it. Pizza + side of ranch & 1 scope of ice cream (no drink; only water) was $39 + tip. Not bad given everything is made fresh and in house.

When you look at the menu, It’s not your normal pizza listings. It’s simply delicious, we ordered the Jerusalem artichoke pizza and sundried tomatoe pizza. Both were delicious, not in your typical pizza,, hard to describe but think like an elevated Napolitan style. It’s pricey but worth it-Can taste the quality ingredients.

Everything is good about this place. Pizza tastes good, a bit crispier, crunchier, less chewy as compared to other great pizza places in town. Beers, services, ambience are all great. Except that the pizza size is only 12 inches, at $33 plus 20% tip, I think Appiza Scholls and Ken’s Artisan offer better value.

Ever since I watched the Netflix chef’s table episode of Lovely’s Fifty Fifty,I have wanted to take a trip to Portland to experience the pizza and ice cream.
As a foodie from California, I recently flew to Portland and was fortunate to eat a delicious meal at Lovely’s Fifty Fifty.
I started the meal with a salad of little gem lettuces with creamy garlic dressing, Reggiano, and breadcrumbs. I loved the garlic dressing on the crisp lettuce.
I also ordered an Elderflower Lemon housemade soda. It was very refreshing on a warm day and it was not too sweet.
For the pizza, I ordered the fresh mozzarella with basil. The crust was very flavorful and baked perfectly. It had a nice crunch to it while also having a nice chew. While my personal preference would be to increase the cheese to sauce ratio I thought the pizza was very delicious and would definitely order it again.
For dessert, I ordered a scoop of mint stracciatella ice cream. I was not expecting the flavor of fresh mint leaves, but it was so delicious and refreshing. It was served in a chilled dish which I thought was an exceptional touch. As a person that loves ice cream and always goes out of his way to eat as much ice cream as possible I think that This scoop was one of my favorite scoops of ice cream I’ve ever eaten.
My quick trip to Portland was definitely worth it and I will definitely be back to enjoy a pizza pie and a delicious scoop of ice cream.

I think I’ve found my new favorite pizza spot. The crust had that perfect chewy texture and was baked just right. The sauce was fantastic, and the fresh mozzarella slice was absolutely spot-on. I also tried the housemade fennel sausage pie and the flavor was amazing, and the kale on top paired perfectly. There was quite a wait time for prime dinner time but well worth it. Definitely recommended 5/5

We ordered carrot soup, mozzarella pizza, and the cardamom ice cream. The carrot soup was great, it was yummy and perfectly seasoned. The ice cream was interesting to try.

Lovely Fifty Fifty completely lived up to its name. The pizza is outstanding. The dough was perfectly cooked — thin, crispy, and airy with just the right chew. It’s the kind of crust that lets the toppings shine while still stealing the show.
The salad was super fresh and bright, a perfect contrast to the pizza. And to wrap things up, their house-made ice cream was the cherry on top — creamy, flavorful, and the perfect end to a perfect meal.
From start to finish, this place delivers. We’ll absolutely be back for more.

This pizza was life-altering. My only complaint is that I fear no other pizza will live up to it. Not only was the pizza (and ice cream) incredible, but the service was exceptional. For it being a relatively small dining space, with constant lines and wait times, they are efficient and know what they’re doing – while also being incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We tried 3 kinds of pizza, ice cream, and soup. If you are even remotely close to Portland, go here!!!
