They have a decent selection of hard drinks like hard tea, hard seltzer, and other hard stuff like that. Which makes sense when they hold it all in a giant fridge in the open. What stood out for us though was the food was good. Not the best out there, but for 7 bucks, you get way more than you usually do at any corpo slop house. It satisfies too.
They also had little board games if your crew decided to stop in, something we didn’t see till we were leaving.
We walked in, found ourselves a table & waited for someone to come to our table. We did have a couple of questions in regards to the drink menu. The woman who approached our table was not very polite upon her first approach. We asked about a flyer the had up in the bar & she left presumably to go get get us some information about that. She came back to the table, dropped off the info & immediately left without explaining anything or answering our other questions. About 10 minutes later a man came to our table to take our order. As our questions were not answered by the woman, we proceeded to ask the guy our questions. He was VERY rude in his responses. There was no need for such attitude & hostility to our simple questions about their menu items. It was so bad that I looked at my friend across the table from me & told her I wanted to leave because of his horrible attitude. I thought for a second the guy might have been being sarcastic, but no, he was being very serious. We had NO attitude towards either of them to deserve to be treated the way we were treated. Thank goodness for my husband’s ability to diffuse situations & with his funny nature he was able to get the guy to be a little nicer by the end of us placing our drink order.
The woman brought our drinks & we asked if the old fashioned we ordered was indeed the chocolate old fashioned & not a regular old fashioned. Her answer was, “it’s whatever you ordered*. I then asked again for clarification that it is what I ordered & she then rudely said “I don’t know, I didn’t make it”. Heaven forbid she go & find out. My husband then asked if we did something to offend her & if we should leave? She then quickly changed her tone & was apologetic.
As we were leaving a customer was waking out behind us &over heard us talking to one another about the whole experience & he stated that he had a terrible experience with them as well. He was pretty upset also.
I don’t understand why as a business downtown Loveland that is in the midst of construction would treat patrons as poorly as they were treating us as I’m sure business has been difficult during this time. As for this experience I will not be returning in the future as I think the man & woman working the bar may have been the owners, which makes this situation even worse. As a business you need to do better.
