I guess things have changed. The lady who took the order was pleasant…..or at least tried to be however the food was far from fresh. The meat (leg quarter) had been reheated to long and was dried out and hard, my sides were DEAD! Also overheated and dried out. The lemonade was a ten not sure if it was homemade or not but that’s the only good part of the meal. I end up just going to get something else I definitely was not pleased. Wish I experienced what the other reviews said as of today NOT a recommendation in my book

First off the service was great. The lady there answered all my questions and ended with its all home made and southern the food was amazing, the flavor in the chicken was through out and the sides were the best. The greens did not have meat in it which is a plus. The Mac & Cheese was the best I’ve had in years and the potato salad was so delicious with a touch of spice and love. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

BBQ done right! Honestly I wish we’d bought in bulk so there would have been leftovers since we probably won’t be back in the area. Short walk from the truck stop made it a really convenient location and the owner was a hoot.. running the whole operation on his own plus great conversation while you wait. Highly recommend!

One of the best barbecue spot I’ve been visit. Food was on point everything seasoned good. We also had peach cobbler for dessert that was so good. Will have to revisit this spot when in town again.

Restaurant was selling plates from the pilot truck stop. Don’t have a lot good food at truck stops. Thank you. Food was awesome. Sweet potato pie was good as well.

The fact that he comes out to us truckers down here getting loaded mile down the road is by far the best! Food was amazing! Ribs fell off the bone and pulled pork was delicious! I can’t wait to get another load over here again cause I will be grabbing food!

Listen…. I did not know this hidden jewel was open. I always see it, but never saw any movement. I had a taste for some barbecue and oh my Goodness!!!! I never get sauce on ribs, I covers up the true flavor. Hands down one of the BEST, most tender, smoky flavored, meaty ribs I’ve had in a while.

Tried Loveland BBQ for the first time last night. As with any place, I read reviews first which were mixed. I ordered a rib plate and a brisket plate and both were delicious! For sides, I got baked beans, collard greens, and Mac and cheese. I had low expectations for the sides, but they were all actually really good. It does depend on your palate and expectations, but overall I was pleased with them.
2 pieces of advice that will make your experience better: ask what is coming fresh off the grill because some items may have been grilled a while ago and are just getting reheated. 2nd, he is friendly land talkative so service is pretty slow. Took about 20 mins to put my order together which was surprising to me. If you go in expecting it to take a while, then it won’t feel as bad lol.
Prices were a little high but in line with other bbq spots. Given that it’s a small operation, I look at it as supporting small business but at those prices, I can go to fox bros, dba, or daddy ds every other time.

I can tell you if you are nice you will get what you order I support this restaurant it is one of my favorites to go to. As a trucker this BBQ place feels special to me and everytime I go thru Atlanta I this place is what I think about because of how good his food was how he presented himself when I was not sure what to get. Very wholesome place. 10/10 would recommend will be grabbing brunch 9/14/22 because 34hr reset required.
