Lovebird is a high quality, quick service restaurant, specializing in naturally gluten-free fried chicken that is made to order. Along with our fried chicken, our menu features a variety of sandwiches, salads, quinoa bowls, and sides. We do our best to cater to allergies and dietary restrictions by encouraging our guests to inform their server if they have any restrictions in their diet, and by offering substitutions, like tofu and gluten free wraps. Additionally, we have a sister store, Jules Thin Crust, who offers a wide variety of thin crust options and also works to cater to those with allergies and dietary restrictions.

Boy…were they spot on!!
My son loves chicken nuggets and he’s now a fan!
We’ve ordered onion rings and 2 piece dark meat with bones for to go, French fries, Mac n cheese.
My son didn’t like the Mac n cheese because it was a bit “grainy” for him. It’s still delish!
Their staff was very nice, friendly and very welcoming!

‘Twas a bit cramped to be honest and very little airflow, so it was hot. They only had one server in the front and a cook in the back. The chicken burgers were very saturated with the sauce and it overwhelmed the flavor balance. The fried chicken had a thick layer of fat under the skin that was not properly cleaned and the popcorn chicken seemed a bit fatty. The fries were over fried… But, the textures and flavors were very pleasant and nostalgic. I’d go back to try more.

My wife found this little gem on one of our outings. And let me tell to you. We have found the winner of any chicken sandwich battle and it’s here. Both fried chicken and grilled chicken sandwiches are amazing. The Love Bird sandwich is a must try!! And building your own has a lot of choices. I actually ate one sandwich then ended getting another on!! The side order of fries is actually enough for two people. We will most definitely be going back.

Im sorry but that chicken batter coating is entirely too mealy. A shame because it has some flavor to it. Not much, but some. Listen, I know its GF so maybe they had to adjust ingredients and can’t iron out the mealy-ness. I aopreciate the inclusivity so all can enjoy however! But man that, to me, is not good chicken… the texture just isnt enjoyable. It’s like the chicken fell into sand. Service is good.

The food was delicious. We tried the grilled chicken sandwich and the buffalo fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. I would recommend the Mac & cheese as well as the popcorn chicken. All was great, service was quick and easy, it was just a little pricey. Overall it’s a cute little place to get a yummy meal but just make sure you realize all items are sourced locally so the prices reflects that.

This is a great spot. I stopped by for a quick lunch on 10/14. They were super busy and it seemed like an unexpected rush as they may have been a little under staffed. The staff, however, was truly fantastic. They worked so hard to accommodate everyone in a timely manner and compensate for any delayed orders. The staff was patient, kind, and working incredibly hard to get orders out.

This is a delightful gem in the heart of Doylestown. Especially loved because of its quality fresh gluten-free products. The fried chicken was amazing first gluten-free fried chicken I have found- and it was delicious! Hand cut french fries homemade coleslaw, and brussels sprouts that were amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try some more options. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and dedicated to customer service. Well you don’t have to be gluten-free to enjoy this, it’s certainly a plus for those of us who are.
