If you have been to Japan then lower your expectations but for Bakersfield the food was good but expensive overall. Rolls were thrown together with less care than higher end places. Fish seemed fresh and atmosphere was decent for a strip center.

Me and my husband came to try it out. Since we heard good and bad things about this place. We had to try it out to judge for ourselves. If you’re in a hurry this isn’t the place for you. We decided to dine in and get the experience. We ordered the dumpling ramen 8/10, but full of flavor. We got the spicy tuna roll 9/10. We also got the California tempura roll 10/10. Delicious food. We paid 72.00 and was worth every bit. I will come back and try something different. Thank you and not to forget, our waitress was on point even when we asked for suggestions.

When it comes to reviewing this restaurant, the best details it held was the service and environment. Our server was the up most kind and quickly served us our food, along with not having to deal with a crowd of loud people flooding the room or putting up with dirty factors of where we were dining. Although, the food that we decided to order didn’t exactly win us over, it was still good quality and nicely prepared, yet it just held too bland of a taste. All together, it wasn’t my absolute favorite place to eat, but it was still pleasant.

Well today, it was before 9pm, I decided to stop here since it looked empty with 1 car in the parking lot, thinking I’ll get quick service,eat and leave. I walk up and see it says it’s closes at 930 pm, nope! it was closed and there was one car in the lot and another pulls up, looked like it they were doing a “deal”. I quicly left and found another Sushi place across town. I don’t think I’ll give this place a try again.

Why a DOG come out from the kitchen, i was there last night at love sushi at coffe location and had dinner with my family, but it was very disappointed seeing a dog coming out from the back, thats is not healthy, im not going back to this place. I couldn’t take a picture because I never thought about thata was gonna happen but I was a white dog.

Their food is mediocre for sushi. If you don’t want much rice they definitely do the trick. I was set back as they do not have prices on the menu now. Service is hit and miss. I’ve only been there twice. The first time I didn’t care for the service, the second time was exceptional!

California rolls no longer come w cucumber. You have no idea that it is missing because it’s not mentioned in the menu. To get it, you have to ask and there is a charge.
Teapot- no longer. Individual cups now. Garlic edamame tasted like bacon and soy sauce. I give up on this location. It’s been getting worse and worse.

The best part of my meal was the miso soup. That’s unfortunate for a sushi restaurant.
There were too many fillers like rice and imitation crab topped with a slither of fish that was cut thinner than the sliced ginger. Wish they cut their fish like they did with the cucumber…. For $13 these rolls tasted worse than grocery premade sushi. All the rolls had a vinaigrette that was overpowering. The complementary salad was lettuce and sauce from a Big Mac. The environment was loud and the lights made me feel like I was in a Pac-Man game. Overall, I will not be back. The pictures say it all. What a waste of money.

Good service! Fast and friendly service! We enjoyed our entire meal! Presentation was very nice of rolls! We spent $69 for Tempura udon, 3 sushi rolls an appetizer, and sodas! We will go back again! Friendly sushi chefs are such a nice bonus!
