This is one of my favorite sushi places here in SCV. I’ve been coming since 2012, and the service and food have remained consistently excellent. My favorite roll is the baked salmon, but honestly, everything is delicious. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve ordered take-out from your restaurant three different times. The first time went smoothly, but during my second attempt, I placed my order only to receive a call back saying the items I requested were dine-in only, so I had to cancel.
Today was my third attempt, and while I was placing my order, the person on the phone told me to call back once I was “ready,” even though I had already given most of my order and was only considering adding one more item. At that point, I decided this experience just isn’t for me.
I contacted another sushi restaurant instead, Sushi 661 and they were much more courteous over the phone and even took the time to recommend a specialty roll.

Everyone has that little hole-in-the-wall favorite place that’s comfortable.. this is that place for us. The service is consistently good, as well as the food. The restaurant tends to play loud music Friday & Saturday evenings but Sundays evenings are usually quiet. We haven’t had anything that wasn’t good.

The Best Sushi Place!
I have been here three times now and it does not disappoint! There are two menus, the full menu the restaurant offers and a paper menu for ordering sushi. I love the sushi and sashimi they have. Each time the waiters were friendly and so were the chefs. You are even able to see them cut and prepare the sushi! The sushi rolls we ordered were so tasty and it was so good. Highly recommend visiting!

This is a small place with lots of supplies stacked around, which was distracting. Next time I’ll face the door!
That said, the service was good, as was the food. We tried three items, and the least favorite was a baked salmon sushi which really was just more of a poor choice on my part because I prefer the raw fish.

Wrong order twice in a row!
Last weekend, we picked up our food order, and then the restaurant called us on the way home to tell us they had forgotten to include part of our order. *Sigh* No problem, they took our name down for a “free roll next time.”
Well, we called again tonight. I asked for my free roll, and then we ordered a few more too. When we got home, however, we discovered that one of the rolls was not what we ordered. Again!
I’m sorry, but this level of incompetence is completely unacceptable. After 20 years, we’ll be looking for a new sushi restaurant.

We ordered the sashimi salad and it could have had more fish. Very small piece of fish. Salad is very good. The rolls we ordered most have the crab inside which isn’t my favorite. The servers are very nice. We’ve been there many times over the years. It’s mostly due to convenience but food could be better. The prices are very reasonable.
