Giving this place a second chance was a mistake.
The appetizers are not worth the money. The fried dumplings – terrible. Texture of the wrapping is crunchy in a bad way, greasy and porous. The price for six dumplings of THAT quality is astonishing.
If you want sushi, there are better places in Columbia by a mile. Both times I went there, my partner’s and my sushi were not wrapped tight enough and started to fall apart (as seen on pictures) from just picking them up (my partner had a tiger roll with seafood, and I had a teriyaki chicken one).
Our server did not know the menu. I asked what kind of non-seafood options they had, and I was struck with “None” even though I did get chicken teriyaki roll two months ago. After telling the server that I had non-seafood rolls here, he suddenly remembered that they had them. Additionally, the server forgot that we asked for water, and we had to call another server to get it.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is confusing, and borderline annoying. K-pop blasting 24-7 and a bunch of out of place decorations.
Overall, the food here is not worth the money. Kenko is thousand times better for being a smaller sushi place. And their sushi do not fall apart.

Very good authentic Japanese food. The staff even remembers my regular order even if I don’t go in a month. Timely, good cost and it all tastes good. The takoyaki was a bit burnt though. Otherwise perfect

My husband and I brought our 4 kids here to Love Sushi for the 1st time tonight. We had to wait just a little bit, but not long maybe 5-10 minutes.
(No loud music or k-pop that most reviewers co.plaimed about. I hear people talking nothing else )
Then we were seated and received our drinks right after ordering them. (I mentioned this because I saw a review complaint they had to wait a long time for their drinks.
I ordered the hot babe roll but had them add cream cheese. It was so delicious. My husband ordered the bolgolgi, which he loved, but I was not as much a big fan. I loved my sushi more. He did wish he had a larger plate to put everything together.
Our younger son (11) ordered the chicken nugget kids meal with fries. He said they were the best chicken nuggets hes ever had. (They were very good, and the fries seemed homemade, which is great!) Our oldest daughter (8) ordered the Mexican roll and the eel roll. She loved both and especially loved the eel roll. Our oldest son (12) ordered yaki noodles plus he shared some of his sisters sushi and my husband’s meal. He loved everything. He was raving about this is 10/10 food it’s the best place he’s ever eaten at. Our youngest (5) shared with her oldest brother.
Thank you for an amazing experience. we will be back.

I usually don’t give out less than 5 stars to places I like but this experience was a little different. Came in for a dinner with my boss, and reserved seating beforehand. Unfortunately due to the server’s confusion we lost our seat! Taking some stars off of service due to this experience. It was a little annoying because my boss is an important man, and I really don’t like ruining his experience like that. Additionally I found the servers to be a little too nosy considering the small seating area!
The katsu was pretty good tho, unlike other places they use chicken thighs instead of breast pieces which is just not my personal preference, but still enjoyed every bite!

We chose Love Sushi for dinner and I can agree with many of the reviews here that the rolls were generous in size and flavorful. The potstickers were tasteful and came out hot. The music was a little loud and we found ourselves having to talk over it. Our waitress was too occupied with her phone in the back to be bothered, and we finally had to stop another waiter to get my empty glass refilled. When she did come by she was friendly enough but I hate my tea glass being completely empty and it was for about 6 minutes. Overall we will return, but it likely will be for takeout.

Came for wife’s birthday, what great sushi! Had the heart attack, Missouri roll, and spicy tempura roll. All of it was absolutely fantastic, very reasonably priced as well

There’s no way in the world this place is in the 4s. I had it years ago multiple times and it was great. Unfortunately quality of sushi went down for sure. This last visit solidified that I’m not coming back here

Great food! A great overall experience, although the staff was pretty surly. We had never been before and were directed to a table where we sat for a new minutes before I overhead another server explain the menu is a scannable picture on the table. And we expected longer wait times from the “now hiring” sign on the door, and I’m not trying to be a Karen lol, but the service sucked. Will definitely be going again as it was worth the wait and the company made it bearable, but it may be a bit.
