THIS CRUST. IS. INSANE. I absolutely love (pun intended) this place. Not only because of the cool “diner” atmosphere and top notch service, BUT THE PIZZA is unmatched. They have a phenomenal vegan option, which is incredibly appreciated and honestly delicious (even for non vegans). I could talk about the homemade, never frozen, crust for a solid 5 minutes as well. If you’re looking for fresh pizza, a killer menu, and a wonderful setting to tie it all together, get here now.

First time at Love Pizza and it won’t be the last. Great pizza if you like New Haven style pizza. Staff was amazing and friendly. Definitely one of our top pizza spots in the twin cities.

As of this review Love Pizza is so busy that sometimes they are only accepting orders two days in advance. I can see why, the pizza really is worth waiting for. Bold flavors and high quality ingredients as advertised. Very much East Coast style pizza with the thin crust and perfect char on the cheese.

Ok let’s start out by saying that I am from New Haven, CT. I have searched for 6 years. I have been to Almost every pizzeria in minnesota. Wrecktangle Pizza gave me faith in Minnesota Pizza. Love Pizza confirmed it. I met the owner and had to thank him for bringing real Pizza to Minnesota. This was the closest out of all of them to New Haven style pizza.

The pizza is very good (if you like thin and crispy) and the flavors are unique. I thought the experience was weird because you have to order yourself on your phone or upfront and wait for the food so it is fast food style, but they charge a 20% service charge. With this charge they should offer real table service. This made it feel overpriced for the experience as it is not really a sit down restaurant. This is why I would not return, if I am paying a service charge I expect to receive service.

5 stars. The food and atmosphere are great. Service is top notch. The truffle hot sauce is the TRUTH. However, there is not a baby changing station in the bathroom so we had to leave and change our son in the car. We wanted to stay and order more stuff! Also noticed there should be a handicap button for the front door. People that are not handicapped could barely open that heavy door without struggle while carrying the large pizza boxes. It’s a new restaurant so I’m assuming they are making improvements overtime. Thanks Love Pizza we will be back.

We have tried Love Pizza twice now and both times it was FANTASTIC! Their coal fired pizza is the about the closest thing you will find to a good NY style pie outside of the 5 boroughs. Toppings cheese and sauce are all on point and served in proper proportions (harder than you would think) but their dough is the star of the show. Each slice is thin enough to have that nice bend that lets you fold it in half while still being baked just enough to keep it from getting soggy without getting too hard. Extra Credit: For some added authenticity these guys even stock Boylan Bottling Co. Root Beer, a fantastic soda out of New York.
