This particular Love Love has always been our favorite place for Teriyaki. Usually our experience is always 5 stars. But we were a little disappointed this time. I had ordered online and really appreciated the extra space on each item to write special instructions. However, they didn’t follow them. I had asked for extra of the thick Teriyaki sauce on both my Chicken Teriyaki orders and extra spicy sauce on my spicy chicken order. Not only was there no extra sauce, it seemed as if there was less sauce than normal. I am a huge fan of both their spicy sauce and their thick Teriyaki sauce. But instead had to use the watery less flavorful version that they put in our bag. This made the overall flavor of my meal less satisfying and not as enjoyable. But the really disappointing part of the meal came from the potstickers. They are usually my favorite, along with their egg rolls. But I am pretty positive they changed them because the filling tasted different/less flavorful. They were not very good. If you changed them, please bring back the old ones. These aren’t even comparable. Otherwise, I’ll have to go to Momiji’s from now on for potstickers.
The overall meal was still good and I will continue to go here for their chicken teriyaki. It’s delicious but I highly recommend the thick Teriyaki sauce it’s supposed to be cooked with than the thin Teriyaki sauce they serve on their tables and with their to go orders. A must try is their egg rolls. Put a little salt on them and dip in sweet n sour sauce. It’s divine.

Saturday night and tables still have trays on them with nobody cleaning up. My chicken and beef combo was warm, not hot. My pork rolls were cold inside. I don’t trust sending food back, so I leave a bad review. What a waste of a nice dinner

I ordered The teriyaki chicken bowl, extra veggies and no rice to go, however I was only 5 minutes from there. So when I got there the young lady at the register said oh it just came up, here it is and I told her I thought I would eat it here. It was ice cold. I mean chicken as cold as the lettuce was. That wasn’t the worst of it when I took it up to have them redo it or even put some hot chicken on top of the cold. The manager chastised me for it being my fault for calling it in and reminded me that’s what’s going to happen if I call over the phone. When I said that young lady told me it just came up when I walked through the door, and and then in front of the manager said it was my fault because there’s a cold lettuce under it. This Was completely uncalled for.. !

Be careful! When I swiped my debit card to pay the other night, the rude Hispanic cashier hurried and cancelled my swipe and told me to swipe again. I knew she was up to no good. Myn$5.99 purchase all of a sudden on my bank statement is $10!!! She hit the tip button really fast before my second swipe. That is total theft!!!!!!!

Been going here for at least a decade. I used to work nearby and grew familiar with the owners back when they ran it. We’ll they weren’t there today and perhaps that’s why there was mold on the cabbage of my daughter’s dish. I just took her to the urgent care prior to eating here, so she is already sick. Now who knows how much moldy cabbage she consumed. Please make sure your food standards don’t fall.

Did not live up to expectations. We came because my partner said they use to eat there many years back & was delicious. Unfortunately, no one left loving their order. The most decent item was the sweet sour chicken order which doesn’t really taste like the regular ssc. The chicken was dry, the shrimp in the soba was overcooked, tough, and flavorless.
Service was neither great nor terrible considering the gal was handling several delivery orders by herself and businesses are shortstaffed everywhere. Either way, do not plan on returning.

This is my favorite place in Salem for teriyaki style food. My favorite dish is the spicy chicken. I really want to recipe! Keizer location is a little quieter even if it is along the freeway.

Yes, Grubhub does add to the cost, but 2 sweet and sour packets for these crab puffs? This just isn’t acceptable even if this was just $5.00. Also you need to do better when reading the orders and make sure all the food is included.

I’m upgrading this review to 4 stars. Subsequent orders have been very good. I don’t think I’ll order the crab puffs again at least for delivery, but in general the food has been good.
