I had a Nutella croissant here about a year ago and I should have written a review. It was absolutely delicious! And it was the only time I’ve ever had a filled croissant that actually had generous filling.
On Saturday I got a plain croissant and again, it was by far the best croissant I’ve ever had. It was incredibly buttery and crispy on the outside but very dense and flavorful on the inside. Did not disappoint!
We took it to go and enjoyed it with our coffee at Filament.

We’ve been here a few times now, everything has been delicious. We love the guy who works Saturday mornings. The prices are very reasonable. It feels very homey. There is a bit of a lip to get into the café, so a person in a wheelchair may have slight difficulty entering by themselves, but I think it is still considered accessible because it is not a step; a person can still enter, just with a little help. Restrooms are gendered, single stall, and accessible.

It’s now a family tradition to get themed birthday cookies instead of cup cakes and cakes and let me tell you Lou’s does a great time every time. Not only do they come out adorable but the kids love them!

I tried the tiramisu cup and it was delicious! The atmosphere and decor was very nice! I came in the afternoon and it didn’t seem like there were a ton of options, but still a decent amount! I like that they have a gluten free option on the menu as well!

The Valentine’s cookie (pictured) was soft and crunchy, light and not very sweet. The gluten free Chocolate covered strawberries cake was superb. Again not heavy and very rich and moist. Over the weekend we got cheese Danish but it was consumed faster than I could get a picture. 🙂
I’m coming back to try the other treats. Staff here are wonderful, they are always cheerful and welcoming. Downtown delicious gem.

Its 2am and I am thinking about this hakery! The chocolate croissant is the best I’ve ever had. It is so buttery and flakey with the perfect amount of filling. I’ve got to go by tomorrow and get one!!

Picked up a scone and a croissant to go from this pleasant shop. Had really great service for my small to-go order. Servings are large! I heated them the next day and found the croissant to be QUITE good but the scone was pretty bland. That was a little disappointing. Would like to come back and try some other items!

My wife and I bought cupcakes for a gender reveal party, and they were big hit. The buttercream frosting was excellent, reminding me of the kind my mother used to make. The cake was excellent too. Really enjoyed them and plan to go back at some point.
