We enjoyed everything we ordered – the wings definitely exceeded expectations. But the shining star here is Shawnatt. We got an epic letdown (understatement) from American: 5 hour departure delay on our incoming and they wouldn’t hold the Philly flight 5 minutes for us – my sister was in critical condition in Oregon. Needless to say, it was late, we were emotionally crushed, and just needed a bite (and drink!) before bed. We ended up spending hours with Shawnatt. She’s super sweet, and is the only reason we could take a deep breath and say it is what it is, and move on with some sanity. Thank you – needed and greatly appreciated!

We had went here for dinner with a party of 5. We were not even noticed for at least 45 minutes of sitting and looking at menu, with a decent sized party mind you. Was only two waiter/bar tenders. If you can I would recommend eating before you stay at hotel.

All reviews within context. This is a hotel restaurant, but when staying here, it is easy to not go anywhere. I went and sat at the bar for a bit to order takeout food for the room and wait for it to come out. It didn’t take much time, but the staff was helpful. Made sure I felt comfortable sitting at the bar while waiting, and gave me water even though I wasn’t ordering any drinks. I absolutely love these Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. So delicious – I would prefer more egg roll and less pretzel, but can’t really complain since the dipping sauces are pretty good. Made it a bit of a healthier round out with the beet salad. No complaints there either, good mix of greens and other good stuff with a dressing that I don’t remember what it was, but don’t remember disliking it one bit.

Instead of paying for a round trip Uber we decided to eat at the 1643 lounge at the Delta Hotel. The omelette we ordered was huge, but a bit overcooked, and the breakfast potatoes were really not that fresh (maybe sitting under the warmer too long). However, it did fill us until later in the day. I would suggest not cooking the omelette so long. I assumed that cheese came on the omelette, and if it was there, I couldn’t find it. I would try this place again, if ever in the area. We loved the atmosphere of this place and our server was accommodating.

Came in on a Sunday night and sat myself. Was greeted and my order taken fairly quickly, but it took 10 minutes for my soda. The soup was brought out quickly, but when I tried to add ground pepper, I realized my table had two salt shakers…my soda refill resulted in flat cola, and when I brought this to the attention of the staff I was given room temperature 20 oz. bottle. I ordered the shrimp linguine, and it took over 1 hour for it to be made. After about 50 min the server finally came over and told me that they had to take care of a table of 10 people who came in first…which means either lack of proper staffing or lazy staff. The food was mediocre at best, and very overpriced for the quality and lack of service.
Go elsewhere if you are looking for timely service and quality food.

Stayed at the hotel here before a flight out of Philly. Didn’t have high expectations based off the reviews. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Food was exceptional for a hotel bar. Service was prompt and the atmosphere was lively. Only downside is it’s very dark and hard for some people to read the menu.

Very friendly and attentive staff. I sat at the bar area where I had the BBQ wings that were fantastic. Cooked perfectly with the just right amount of sauce. Props to the cook. Definitely would buy again. The atmosphere was very chill and just pleasant with a few TV’s and music that was at a perfect level. Not loud or overwhelming like alot of places can be.

I was staying at the Delta Hotel. The Delta Hotel was a perfect “10″. I went to Lounge 1643 on August 2nd shortly after 9:00am for breakfast based on the beautiful advertisements for the restaurant displayed all over the hotel. There were 2 other patrons in the restaurant at the time of my arrival. I was told to have a seat anywhere I wanted, It was difficult to find a clean table. This was an immediate turn-off. I was able to find a clean table next to a dirty table. My waiter was very nice, but he spent time sitting at the bar messing with his cell phone instead of cleaning the tables. I saw several other restaurant staff just walking around. In addition to this, I waited 20 minutes for a very simple breakfast order. My waiter came over twice to apologize for the delay without any explanation. My breakfast finally arrived and it appeared as though I cooked it. The scrambled eggs were “obviously” over cooked. I ate what I could and left. I was very disappointed in my first and last experience at Lounge 1643.
