Our church ladies retreat came to eat on Saturday November 4th and everything was Amazing. We had 40 women and that’s a lot to serve especially being on a Saturday evening. I ordered the flounder & fried shrimp and it was so good, I’m usually not a coleslaw person but loved it. My friend had the chicken smothered in cheese and bacon she loved it. I couldn’t believe how fast we were served. The staff was so friendly and kept our hush puppies baskets coming nonstop. The restaurant also had cute colorful picnic tables for outside dining. The restaurant was on the water and the sunset was so beautiful!

A recently ate at this restaurant and had one of the worst meals I’ve had anywhere in a very long time. It was not inexpensive. I live in the area and had a nice meal there about 8 months ago. But the quality of the food has deteriorated badly. My friend had clam strips that tasted like clam flavored French fries. I ordered shrimp and grits the menu explained as a cajun style and the dish was terrible. The garlic bread I received was a stale hot dog bun that was grilled and then turned upside down so I wouldn’t recognize it was a hot dog bun. It was grilled dry, without any butter or garlic oil. The grits were bland and the dish had about 5 small slices grocery store kielbasa sausage instead of andouille as stated in the menu. A spicy oil was drizzled over the top of the grits to add flavor. About 5 small shrimp sprinkled with blackening spices topped the dish.
The glass of wine I ordered was the smallest glass I’ve ever seen. It contained only about 4 oz of wine and clearly was not the standard size of 6 oz to 8 ounces. The drink menu did not disclose the ounces for obvios reasons. I would not recommend this restaurant. The pictures should give a clue into how bad this was.

It was end of dinner rush. The waitress was ok, she seemed like she was overwhelmed and was not as attentive, however, we did have a larger group. She didn’t notice one of the kid’s meals didn’t come out until it was pointed out. The fish (flounder) tacos are ok but I’m used to cod. Shrimp and grits were pretty good. The kids Shrimp was good and it it’s a good amount of food. Now the BEST part of this is their dock/outdoor seating. Boats can drive up and park and dine in. The view is AMAZING! They had live music when we were there so it sets the tone for a good vibe.

Very nice atmosphere, we sat on the deck and enjoyed our dinner. I had the crabdip, which comes with Pita chips, FYI they are fried and you can only taste the grease. They quickly rectified this and brought me some regular pita. My friend had the scallops, which I had to steal one, they were perfectly cooked and seasoned just right and you get a lot of them

Very busy. But it’s the middle of summer on a Friday night. We sat at the bar. Bartenders were very focused on drink orders, so not a lot of smiling until the frozen drink orders were done Food service was pretty quick. Grouper Oscar was very tasty. Cold beer and the Strawberry Banana Daiquiri must be the bomb. We watched them prepare a lot.

Got the steam pot the food was wonderful. Service could have been better. Took a while to get our servers attention to get somethings we needed. They didn’t provide extra napkins for the steam pot which is super messy. Most places provide wipes, napkins and a plate for the shells. Atmosphere was really loud as we had a table that seems pretty intoxicated but yet kept getting drinks. They were loud enough to attract attention from the whole room and saying inappropriate things loud. I felt bad for the family with kids at the table next to them. Seems the servers could have said something or a manager. It was pretty obvious that it was an issue for multiple tables. The food was really good though and the guy who busted our table step up and help get the things we needed so we could leave the restaurant.

Food was outstanding for our visit, the shrimp po boy and hand cut chips I had were just delicious. One of my friend’s enjoyed coconut shrimp and a summer salad with watermelon. Another friend had Creek shrimp and they were yummy! It would be a 5 star review for the food alone. The service, however subtracted some. We we’re an obvious bother to our server. She took my order for the shrimp po boy, keyed it in as an oyster po boy. She was a little rude about correcting the mistake for me, but she did it. She rushed us for orders, would fly by our table in a hurry to someone behind us, and generally ignored us. I tracked her down for straws, instead of asking us if we wanted dessert she just brought the check. Food is definitely delicious and 5 star quality, the one server we had was not.

Awesome fresh fish and dinner specials from the chef and kitchen staff! Their whole crew is awesome! From the friendly and fast bartenders to the coolest 14 year old busboy! Kudos to the kid with work ethic!! Woot Woot!!

Wife loved the scenery, service and food. She mentioned that she thought the salad dressing was possibly made in house. She called and told one her girlfriends who travels the area so that she could enjoy herself as well. She said it was definitely a return to location.
