Their chicken was hot and seasoned. The fries were hard, which they gave us fresh ones, and the potato salad was not good (to me). There’s a bit of a wait and not many seats in the waiting area so you may find yourself standing or waiting in your car (if it’s busy).

Cool atmosphere. Food was done pretty fast and hot and fresh. Cat fish and shrimp were fire. Mac and cheese was good. Overall I would give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s. Prices were reasonable.

To began, I came from Pasadena to try this Louisiana chicken so my expectations were high. Ok here it goes, My red snapper was fresh and fried to perfection but lacked flavor (no seasoning at all) shocking right…my fries were hot and fresh and VERY well seasoned, mac & cheese overseasoned (my opinion) and the cheese was artificial tasting. I had to ask for condiments and the workers weren’t friendly AT ALL. Two workers were outside smoking by the front door and the cashier was on her phone. I will recommend trying this at your own risk. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the wait was 20 minutes not bad.

The food was fantastic, they oyster were fresh and cooked to perfection. The chicken and wings was tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Shrimp was delicious and big and the fish reminded me of home. The greens came as a surprise to me, delicious smoked flavor and tender to the bite OMG that was a taste of the South. The staff was amazing treated us like family though it was our first time and was very patient with us ordering because the order was large. Food came out fast, hot and fresh. The music gave me like a karaoke vibe they only missing the liquor. This place will DEFINITELY be seeing this family again for a long time to come.

I’ve been here a few times and ordered food to go but this time, we decided to dine-in because we had some time in between appointments. We ordered fried chicken, fried red snapper, red beans & rice, fries, and mac ‘n cheese. The chicken was seasoned very well, and juicy with a good crunch to it. The red snapper was lightly seasoned (which complimented the fish nicely) with a nice crisp. The red beans were flavorful although I wish the roux was a little thicker. But the mac ‘n cheese… it was a little bowl of creamy, stringy cheesiness, well seasoned with a hint of smoky flavored yumminess! I’m very picky about mac ‘n cheese but there were no complaints here! Five stars for the food for sure, but it was a little too pricey to give it 5 stars this time around. The service was good and the small eating area was clean. I will be back again to try the oxtails because the lady that ordered it at the next table over couldn’t stop talking about how good they were. I will drop a 2nd review after my next visit.

Came in for lunch got the 3pc chicken combo ( it had 4 pieces ) Mac N cheese and red beans & rice
Wait time about 15 minutes So I get my chicken and it’s super hot ( but not much flavor ) really was expecting it to be spicy ( so I was a little let down ) red beans and rice were really good so was the Mac N cheese ( added the hot sauce to both ). The lady at the register was very nice and they had some good music playing. Just wish the chicken had more flavor

I didn’t get a Chance to get pictures. But my husband and I decided to eat here . He got a shrimp poor boy with a small Mac and cheese . He loved his meal I got the oxtail meal ( oxtails , Rice , A corn muffin and two sides) my sides were greens and Mac cheese. All of it was delicious and Full of FLAVOR, Except the corn muffin. It was dry and tasted like I was eating plain corn meal . I thought it would be buttery and sweet. There was a bit of a wait BUT we didn’t mind . The proportions and prices are so perfect. We came from the High Desert , We stopped to taste it. We made it Home food was still warm. We’re so satisfied with the taste and quality of the food, we’re thinking of going back next Saturday. We from Los Angeles and both have families down south ( we know good food when we taste it) THIS PLACE is a MUST TRY ‼️

First time eating here (phone order, food picked up), Netty who answered the phone, was very customer oriented (Don’t change girl, you are awesome!). The mac & cheese has a delicious flavor but could be creamier. The red beans and rice was ok, but possibly from Glory in the can as their brand has a distict taste/aftertaste. I love pepper, but it had a tad too much, and it takes over. The greens were barely tolerable as they too don’t taste homemade and posibbly Glory Greens from the can as they have a distinct pot liquor, color and taste/aftertaste. maybe some smoked turkey would help to deliver some flavor. The catfish was delicious and moist; and I love their tarter sauce (taste homemade). The chicken wings were crispy, and had a good flavor but a little dry for me… Also while cleaning the chicken, someone needs to make sure all the feathers are removed before frying (NOT Cool). Last but certainly not least, the prices are cool and the catfish was good, but not sure if its enough to make me go back…And if I do, I would pass on all sides except the mac and cheese. SMH
