After reading the reviews and taking a recommendation from a close friend of mine, I finally tried this place. I will give a disclaimer that I am actually from Louisiana so when you put that name on something I have high expectations. The lady at the drive-through was very polite and patient And my order came out correct. The food however, was absolutely terrible. I ordered a two piece chicken and substituted the fries for jambalaya and I also ordered a side of okra gumbo, and a strawberry apple slush. The chicken was very dry and the flavor was lacking. The jambalaya is not jambalaya at all. It looks like Mexican rice with a little bit of sausage in it. The gumbo roux was entirely too dark, too thick and was lacking in flavor. The picture looks lighter because of the flash. The shrimp and meats inside Look like they have gone bad or something is wrong with them. I spent over $20 on this meal expecting to be able to enjoy at least one item and the best thing going was the jalapeño peppers which isn’t just pickled jalapeño peppers, It’s a mixture of jalapeño peppers, onions and carrots in a small container for $1. Their slush was not really a slush. It was a Kool-Aid smoothie, but it was one of the better things from this place. I will not be coming back.

I was told the fried rice was good from someone online and they were not lying. I’m from New York. I know good Chinese food. The fried rice was very good. I got it combination style. The fried chicken was good, but what was surprisingly good was the fried fish. I’ve seen a few bad reviews, and I understand. You have to be selective on what you pick. Get the fried fish eat as soon as you get it.

I came here with good intentions. I ordered my po boy based on the picture, lettuce tomato and onion. Well the onion is just for show. They don’t provide it.
I asked for a hot sauce for $14 sandwich and was told have to pay for one tiny container of hot sauce. My husband got his with his meal which is chicken, shrimp and catfish. I had a shrimp po boy.
I k ow this is just a chain but the lack of customer service is sad. I get prices are up but this is ridiculous. I work in hospitality. I would never treat anyone like this.

Service,and restroom Wonderful. Inside clean as well. I ordered the 10pc gizzard special with fries n a roll also an egg roll. Here came the problem. They gave me the smallest gizzards they could find look at the size of one gizzard and my fries had been sitting there too not fresh at all and the egg roll n sauce is not good. I can say the Iitty bitty gizzards had a good flavor and wasn’t hard to chew . I’m still disappointed I spent my last $9 on this thinking it would hold me over until later.Needless to say I only ate the Itty bitty gizzards and trashed the rest , back to square one hungry ♀️ should of went to McDonald’s..

The catfish is crispy and well seasoned. The shrimp isn’t over battered. The fried rice is flavorful. The rolls have just the right amount of sweetness. The remoulade is deserving of two portions. The hot sauce has a kick at the end that is a pleasant surprise. The strawberry lemonade is fresh. I stumbled here on accident but I’ll be back for sure.

This location is trash I went through the drive thru and specifically asked for fresh chicken since my last 2 times it wasn’t fresh. I got home, and not only was it not fresh, I have gnats in my food and in my cup. I’m done. I’ll never go back. Do better!!
