This place was recommended to us for the shrimp fried rice; however, our rice was not good at all when we went on a Saturday evening. We not sure if it was the cook, but it wasn’t busy at all so not sure why it didn’t taste fresh.
We’d like the spicy salt n pepper chicken wings. It had sautéed onions and jalapeño peppers on top that made it good. We also ordered the fried fish, chicken and shrimp meal with 2 sides combo. The fried food had good flavor and the coleslaw were good but the red beans and rice wasn’t good at all.
Needless to say, I’m not sure if I’ll spend my hard earned money there again.

Decided to try something new instead of Popeyes down the street. OMG the fried chicken is amazing! So much flavor! And the salt and pepper wings were also amazing as well.

There food is always fantastic. Great service. Fresh food. Expect to wait 10 to 15 minutes for your food if you dont call ahead. Ive only had an issue once but make sure and check your food. They gave me someone else’s order the other day. If they didnt make food fresh to order it would be no big deal but unfortunately the lady who’s food it was had to leave because she was on lunch break. I felt bad for her. Otherwise 100% I will still return.

I ordered from this place for delivery. The chicken was cold and dry. Mashed potatoes were runny and obviously boxed. French fries were limp and cold. The gravy was runny with no consistency. Worst 73.00 I’ve ever spent.

I had seen the sign before they opened up. So had take car to Firestone (Ken’s) Amazing there for service. Had to wait. Firestone was busy. Walk around and found the new Chicken Place. Decided try them. I got 2 Fried Cat Fish & 2 pieces of chicken w/Fries & it comes w/ a roll (Hawaiian). Also got nuggets for my niece and she loved them. Really good recipe on your chicken. Haven’t tried their shrimp yet but can’t wait. They also have Gumbo. If you like spice, then come on over. Doesn’t disappoint.

Walked in, looked and smelled clean, which can be unusual and a fried chicken spot. Told the lady I’d never been there before she helped me place my order. That’s some of the best fried chicken. I’ve had in Sacramento. Got it yesterday Saturday we may actually be back today lol. Highly recommended. I also asked about her gumbo. My husband’s from Louisiana she was telling me the breakdown of her recipe like she knows how to do it right. We’re looking forward to trying.

The mashed potatoes were salad as a rock covered in some horrible gravy. I never asked for. My red beans and rice were dry. The sides were entirely unacceptable. I would never in my life or another side dish from this restaurant and I’m so glad I didn’t order that cake. You guys need to do better.
