Honestly I think I made the wrong decision choosing this place for lunch I have only been to one other Louisiana fried chicken before ( the Fontana location ) and it was really good. But not this one. So. I was reading the reviews before coming in and they were ( not good a lot of 1 ⭐️ ) but they were true. When I walked in the restaurant there was absolutely no tables just a few chairs i wanted to dine in but it wasn’t an option. I ordered the 3 piece chicken meal with red beans and rice and a extra side of dirty rice one piece of my 3 piece was hot ( wing ) other 2 pieces ( cold ) none of the chicken had much flavor no spice no nothing
red beans and rice ( horrible ) dirty rice ( okay I guess ) but did not finish it. I would definitely not recommend eating here

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I just felt like this place was a scam with my order. I usually go to a Louisiana in fontana by my place but given that it was close I decided to stop to my next closest location. As usual, I ordered a chicken Poboy sandwich and it was terrible. Not only did I wait at least 30 minutes for my order but it was completely different than the usual poboy. I basically got a chicken Torta. The bread was a Torta bread. No sauce. A lot of onion and no pickles. The worst part was that Louisiana usually puts 4 pieces of tenders inside the poboy and these guys put 2 pieces. Lastly, the bread was hard and over cooked on 2 of the 4 poboy sandwiches I bought. Don’t recommend this location. But I recommend any other.

I got catfish it was crispy and tasted fresh also the shrimp was good and macaroni salad. Had the perfect spice. I normally add hot sauce and lemon to my fish, but there was no need the flavor was perfect.

Been coming here for 10 years. The fried chicken and fish are so tasty. Hint: get the chicken nuggets (at least a 1/2 pound of righteous, white meat chicken!) Never getting nuggets elsewhere again. I used to like their signature fried rice, but this time the umani was missing. Also wanted some ranch to dip the nuggets in, you have to pay extra. Even if 50 cents, no bueno; you should get at least 1 with order. Also, they used to have tables to eat inside. Not any more. Put them back, please. Not everyone has cars.

The only thing that was good was the fried chicken everything else was so hottt and spicy I couldn’t even eat it the gumbo was a disgrace to soul food all they had was bell peppers and rice in it gumbo comes with shrimp sausage chicken crab legs all they had was rice and peppers ️ so spicy I couldn’t eat it the jambalaya tasted like the gumbo the red beans and rice was dry the service could have been a lot better if it was made with a little love and they didn’t even tell me all my husband that the food was spicy and we can’t eat spicy food I was thinking they was going by a traditional recipe I wish I had a taste test before I ordered

I WAS GONNA FEED THIS TO MY KIDS!
The chicken legs were red underneath the skin, come here if you want to risk getting salmonella. Find attached a picture of 3 drastically undercooked chicken legs. The fried chicken tastes like it was cooked in old oil (it’s a distinct bitter taste), the coleslaw was not up to par and the macaroni is mostly mayonnaise with little seasoning. Only positive is that the service was quick, but maybe if it wasn’t so quick they’d take their time and actually cook the chicken. First and last time coming here!

Went in to order “red snapper”. It’s not real snapper by the way and if you’re a seafood lover, you can tell. They rushed to fry it and it was undercooked when I got it. There was absolutely no flavor to it as well. I took it back to let them know about this, and all they did was throw it back in the fryer (unsanitary because you don’t know if my hands touched it) and sprinkled fry seasoning on there. By the time I got it back, it was still undercooked and flavorless. Paid 17 dollars for 5 pieces when I could’ve went to the fish market and got same pieces and 2 sides for a dollar less. Only thing is, this was the only place open that served fried fish so my options were limited.. never again smh

Ok so I’m going to be completely honest. This place isn’t that bad. I would say that the young man in the front isn’t the best with customers, but he does get what you want correct. So my honest opinion of the food. I’m normally going to the one in La on Normindie cause that’s where I’m from but I’m here now so I got to take what I can get.
Anyways I ordered the Riverboat 16 pieces.
Chicken came fresh. And I watched them make it. I also ordered the shrimps and a 4 piece as well. And their smoothies total around 89.00. Prices are ridiculous but I understand. As far as the taste of the chicken I would give it a solid 6 and that’s due to a few things missing from the original
Batter of Louisiana style chicken chains. And their shrimps small but tasty again missing that spice from the original taste. Their smoothie hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Overall I had a good experience will I go back yes. Just be mindful that it’s missing a few of the spices but it’s cool.

I have been having a craving for catfish but it’s so hard to find good fried food open late. Then this gem popped up. I ordered two pieces of chicken, a leg and thigh, red beans and rice, a drink and a piece of fried catfish. Came to 9$. Not bad at all. And the buttered bun was delicious too. It was all crispy, juicy and amazing. Only coming here for all my southern desires. And they have Asian dishes too, like chowmein, egg rolls and fried dumplings. Very good. Also, have pics of the full menu! Will come again.
