This chicken is soooo good, juicy and spicy. I had to double back in the same day!! The sweet tease was refreshing. The dirty rice isn’t recommended but the red beans and rice has a lot of flavor. Then, the prices are reasonable. I would definitely come back again.

If I could leave 0 stars I would . This is kind of insulting to a person that’s ACTUALLY FROM LOUISIANA !!!! I ordered the 2 piece fish and chicken and this is what my door dasher picked up. FOOD WAS COMPLETELY RAW INSIDE AND OUT ! I’ve missed work because I’ve been sick. WILL NEVER COME BACK AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TOO NO ONE !

First time visit and was pleasantly surprised. The place here on Collin street just opened so the wait was expected. I tried just a little of a few different things. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful as were the gizzards. My son tried the pint of gumbo and said it was really good. I loved the roll and the fries were plentiful. The only negative was I didn’t get my chicken spring roll…Great experience overall and I will be back to try more!

I got the fried catfish along with buffalo wings, and none of it was good! The fish was fried entirely too hard and not really seasoned..the fries were a little burnt..and the wings tasted store-bought like the ones I get from Kroger‘s! The sauce on the buffalo wings Was a little thick and it did not taste good and the coating of the wings wasn’t tasty either; it looked as if someone just drizzled it across the wings instead of fully coating the wings with the sauce!
The only plus that I can give the meal is that it was freshly made

Small lil restaurant type place, upon entry there are about 6 chairs. U order @ the plexi-glass window..Employees ALLLL very kind n helpful.. prices are amazing. Food is made fresh every order. Two meals under 25.00 with drinks. CHICKEN is amazing , yu heard me. BayBayy seasoned nice with fries, pickles n bread. Definitely won’t be disappointed.. Thank you LFC

It was okay, I actually had high hopes. The funnel cake was over fried for my liking. The macaroni tasted good but the shrimp was too dry and so was steak. Don’t know if I’ll eat here again..

Amazing Black owned business I’m from Louisiana so I needed some soulful cooking I’m familiar with. Definitely try the banana pudding cheesecake The wings were great, not sold yet on the strips but I’ll try a different flavor on them next time. I remember eating my food happily at my job on my day off . I got the platter where you can choose 2 entrees!! I chose Catfish & lemon pepper wings!! Chose fried okra & fried corn as my sides The cake was amazing too

Was in the Arlington area and wanted to try some catfish out here, ran across this place so I thought I would give it a try. Definitely not it, don’t taste like catfish but I could be wrong, it’s fried good and very mushy in the inside like it was cooked to fast or getting old Definitely had an after taste to it….. not impressed

The food was good. I wish the chicken and fish were cooked in different oils so I could taste the separate flavors. However, the chicken was fried hard the Memphis way. The one thing I would change is to toss the wings inside of poring sauce on them. If I’m in the area I’d come again.
