Went through the drive thru last week for quick kolaches and donuts and just wow, so delicious!

Not all Meche’s are created equal. I routinely frequent the Carencro Meche’s due to the location. I have mentioned several times that some of the products are drastically different and inferior. The cake donuts are basically a ball of dough. They explained that this was a temporary issue because of a mechanical failure (that was over a year ago). The donut holes keep getting smaller and smaller. I brought this to their attention a couple of times and I honestly think that they thought I was joking. Today was the last straw. I ordered 6 dozen holes with sprinkles for my child’s school birthday party. I was completely surprised to see that they all fit in one box with plenty of room to spare. Once we drove away my son bit into one and it was crunchy. Most of them were of the same quality. I had extra time so I stopped in the Meche’s on Guilbeau, I ordered 3 dozen the same way and the box was stuffed. I took a picture of them side by side in order to provide reference. I would think that if my name was on the building, I would ensure some sort of quality control. In short if you’re satisfied with the one in Carencro, great. Just understand that they are not an accurate representation of the true Meche’s product. The Guilbeau rd. location has always been consistent and always have friendly helpful staff and a clean lobby area. I will no longer settle for inferior products simply based on location.

First time going in there and there were flies flying all over the donuts. If I could give 0 stars I would. Walked out as fast as the flies were flying around the donuts. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Almost every time I go there they are out of sausage and cheese kolaches. I don’t understand how you are running a business that sells something and you don’t make enough. Also, I ordered some donut holes and they were ice cold. Your best bet is to go to Meches.

Can I give half a star? This was terrible. Kolache dough was very undercooked. Pretty much only ate the sausage. Had to rip the raw dough off because it was so chewy. Got a cake doughnut, the outside was way overcooked. Inside was dry and tasteless. The apple fritter was super crispy and somehow undercooked on the inside and was again lacking in actual apple.flavor. very disappointed. Felt ripped off.

Wasn’t the most delicious I ever had . They where decent a while ago they changed the size of the donuts which I believe are best now it seems like they kinda going back to the bigger donuts. There kolache is why I gave them 3 starts it was great I enjoy a kolache that doubles as a yeast roll it’s delicious…

Stopped in yesterday in a huge hurry to provide donuts to a dog club event. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and appearance of the shop and with the employees who quickly got me what I needed, a variety of hot, fresh donuts to please a small crowd of folks. The donuts were indeed DELICIOUS, still warm when I got to the club and everyone liked them! Thanks for the fast, courteous service of a fantastic product from a nice little small town store 🙂 Loved it 🙂
