We came here for lunch. Their popular fried catfish had a funny taste, not sure if it was the seasoning but I could not eat it after few bites. Their gumbo had a good flavor but there were no okras!!! When I make it, I put lots of diced okras and diced vegetables, it only had sausage slices, shredded chicken and few shrimps. We also had the snowcrabs, but thought the flavor wasn’t as good as boiling crab. They load it wirh garlic and makes it tasty. Not sure about visiting this place in the future!! 3 for mediocre service and what kind of restaurant doesn’t even have ice or ice maker?!?! It was hot and my coke was just not cold enough!! I had to get ice next door at the icecream shop!! This place is mediocre at best.

I got the catfish po boy with a side of potato salad. Both were very good. The potato salad is some of the best I have ever had! I rated the view ⭐️⭐️⭐️because of the obstructed view from the construction next door. Not their fault, but it does detract from the experience. I’d definitely come back. And ill definitely get the potato salad.

We were in Seaport Village and saw that the restaurant had finally opened. I saw someone eating greens and I said they have greens! The lady said yes and they’re good too!. I sent my Hubby to find a place to sit while I queued up to order. You order and pay at the counter and take your number to your table. The food came out fairly quickly. Fried Shrimp, fries, hot links, Mac n cheese, collard greens, water and a strawberry Fanta. The portions are generous and served in what can become your to go containers.

First time coming here as I was staying nearby and the food is actually really good and filling. Someone degrades I had as I got the barbecue brisket sandwich as the brisket sandwich was really really good, same with the Cajun fries as well. The collard greens, I kind of wish it added some smoked turkey in there and the mac & cheese. It’s just regular. Nothing special, not even close to being compared to a Popeyes or a Chick-fil-A mac & cheese. The daiquiri itself is pretty good but I don’t know if it’s worth $12.

For the most part, I wish the area had a bigger city locate for people to be close, but they make up for it in Customer Service as they have one person giving you the food and there’s a runner who stands outside the sitting area for in case you have orders to go and you need help with anything and she greets you as you leave.

Some of the other graphs is also parking as if you park here for more than an hour, you’re paying $17 and I don’t think that any of these restaurants validate your parking ticket.

I came here late to get some beignets, they were awesome. While coming for the beignets I saw they had a working smoker so I decided to come the next day for ribs. The food was very good and the portions are massive. I got Mac and Cheese and Potato Salad for sides and both were delicious. The employees are also very nice. I think I’m eating every meal here until I leave San Diego this weekend.

1lb shrimp seafood boil was a great deal, $35 for one pound of shrimp, good helping of sausage and potatoes, and one small ear of corn. one of the best values ive seen. the red beans and rice were cooked well.

Louisiana Charlie’s at Seaport Village is a great spot for a quick bite with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered the Cajun Fries and a Mango Nada with Rum, both of which hit the spot. The fries came fresh out of the fryer, dusted with a generous amount of Cajun seasoning, crispy and spicy on the outside, yet soft inside. The Mango Nada had the perfect balance of sweetness and rum, making it a refreshing afternoon drink. The tamarind candy straw was a fun and flavorful touch.

Seating is a bit limited at the restaurant itself, but you can grab a spot at the nearby common seating area under the trees or take your food to the pier, which is what I did. Enjoying my food with a waterfront view made the experience even better. If you’re in Seaport Village and craving some bold flavors, this spot is worth a visit!

The prices look high, but for us, two mains and two sides was enough to feed four people. On that basis, the price is right. The food was pretty decent bbq. We had the pulled pork and the kids had the chicken tenders.

Hey Yall I was highly disappointed with this place, I am from Louisiana lived there 25yrs now, I get to live here in California an experience all there is to offer. As we came to the restaurant it was very confusing which door was the front door. Then the order of 1lb shrimp and 1lb of crawfish seafood boil now let me tell you it take good but nothing like a real cajun seafood boil. They did not use any zatarans seasoning boil, No Tony’s seasoning. ABSOLUTELY.NO CAJUN, SPICE, A LOT OF BUTTER AND A LOT OF GARLIC. The crawfish was pick 2 early and the crawfish were way too small a.Lot of them, the tails were out. That means they were dead before they even started cooking them.I know this as a southern louisianer. Then the alligator legs were definitely overcooked chewy. Um, not good at all.And then for the bingers, which is always one of my favorites, which not here, I would never get beignets, again. They burnt them, and then they put so much powdered sugar on top of them to disguise the burnt look an flavor they were horrible. Do not get there beignets. The view is beautiful. I will say I was disappointed with this experience i was expecting home. No jazz music. Just sad. I hope they get better. I just won’t be re visiting. In total it was 119 dollars not worth it.
