Louise’s was built on the belief that some things never go out of style—like the sound of a piano, the elegance of a well-made drink, and the nostalgia of a night filled with old standards and jazz favorites. Inspired by the golden age of jazz and the regency of old Hollywood, Louise’s is a place where every detail matters, where the music and the cocktails share the spotlight, and every evening feels timeless.

Upon arrival, a portion of my party was apparently waiting to be seated. The assistant manager came by and let us know that since we had been waiting, she would take drink orders out in the lobby, on her, while we wait.
The manager then let us know that they were waiting on another party to get up but they still hadn’t.
I then learned a member of my party wasn’t showing up, so it changed the number.
He then seated us because we were with less people. We spoke to one waitress about the drinks and she acknowledged, letting us know that our waitress would be with us.
We told the Imora, our waitress what the other waitress (or what we thought was a waitress) April said in reference to the drinks being taken care of.
After the check arrived we noticed we were charged for the complimentary drinks.
I promptly told the waitress that there were drinks included in the total that were not suppose to be. The waitress up front let us know it was on her for waiting. She went and told the manager and this is when Tom came over.
We were addressed with “what is the problem and what is it that you all would like me to do?”
I was immediately taken aback. What an informal and inappropriate way to address a group that you are just coming into contact for an issue.
He became very defensive about the explanation and asked us if we EXPECTED to be given these 5 drinks. I told him no, I am asking for her promise to be fulfilled. He said she told him that she never said that and she was no longer at the restaurant. I proceeded to ask if all 6 of us were lying? I told him that I did not care about paying for drinks, this is about principle.
He said he was on our side and he would take them off. He (then) took all of them off (i did not know at the time). If i knew, i would’ve ask him to put the ones I was suppose to pay for back.
In all, this interaction was unacceptable and meant to be demeaning and frankly, disrespectful. This does not need to happen to anyone else and I can guarantee it won’t happen to my party again.
Because I can not respond to the response:
Tom, I am so glad you seem committed to your level us understanding but it looks like you don’t let evidence interfere with your opinions.
I also understand that self reflection and accountability are rare traits in humans so you are reflective of this.
You are a liar. At no point prior to my review or during our time in the bar did you know he was a family member. No one told you that. The amount you said for the drinks is also false. So it seems that your credibility is in question as well. At least you are consistent because the same energy you have now is how you presented yourself to “help”. You are incredibly demeaning and as an owner the little tizzies aren’t professional.
We didn’t need help, we are not in need no matter how you see us in this situation. We are paying customers that are frustrated for an employee misspeaking. That is a training issue, not our issue.
Very friendly staff. Very attentive.
Food was great. My family loved the French Dip sliders. We enjoyed the goat cheese dip as well as tie artichoke spinach dip.
The musician/music was entertaining, very 40s style. Just as I imagine and expect from a piano/jazz bar.
I cannot wait to come again.
A unique experience for Jackson!
