Stopped here for a quick bite while in town, and was glad to see that it hasn’t change a bit and weathered the pandemic. The place is a perfect little piece of Americana and a great place to visit and a good place for a quick bite.

The service was top of the line, quick and thorough. The food was good, interesting but unfortunately had a some preparation issues being almost overdone consistently. That being said it was still good.

The fried green tomatoes were good, needed a little more seasoning in the breading but overall a much better version than many places that do a battered fried green tomato. Again I am hard on fried green tomatoes, it is just a personal thing. The hot dogs were in my opinion overcooked, but again not inedible. The sauce was good, with a bbq sauce base taste that actually worked fairly well with the slaw and cheese additional toppings.

The atmosphere is exactly perfect for the venue, that being a small rural bar and grill. Keep it simple at the bar though as the offerings are a little limited, but super affordable.

This is a MUST stop!!!! Found this little place on our motorcycle trip and due to them supporting the Military we chose to support them.

We walked in and was greeted and waited on by the sweetest young lady!

Cute little joint decorated in Military theme, owned by a retired Marine.

He himself makes everything from scratch! OHMYGOD the food was amazing and the cheesecake is the best I’ve ever had!

We will most definitely make this a place to ride to again.

Ordered Ruben..very disappointed. Bread wasnt toasted and the amount of corn beef is laughable. Ordered the large tots and the grease they were fried in taste terrible.
First and last time eating here. Paid 15.00 for this. Last picture is the amount of corn beef off the grease soaked bread. Can’t eat it!
This was originally ordered as door dash. When no one accepted the order to be delivered to my hotel, I called and asked if I could still pick up. They could have offered to make me a new sandwich and kegs since they told me that doordash is hit or miss in this area. I am being fair. I paid $15.00 and I threw it in the garbage.

I never considered myself a connoisseur of hamburger buns but these were especially tasty. The burger was tender and juicy, and the fries were crispy and savory. My husband is a military veteran and we both appreciated the patriotic theme.

The day we went was crazy busy, with both a softball tournament and a harvest festival in town, adding to the stress of the understaffed restaurants. But they handled rude customers with grace, and the food was worth the wait.

Great food, excellent service, quaint place. The potato kegs were an awesome appetizer! Fried pickles were great. Soup beans were tasty. Don’t miss this place!

Nice little burger shop!
Buns were delicious! Hamburgers were good, nothing special. Menus were sticky, need to be wiped daily. I rarely give 5 stars unless I’m thoroughly impressed.

ABSOLUTELY a wonderful experience !
We found it by accident while on vacation in Kentucky and made sure we returned the following night to enjoy great food and live entertainment. What a great night. The owner personally makes you feel welcome.

This food was phenomenal. Service was awesome and for our first experience and not being from Louisa it was a treat.

I had a Reuben- which rates very high for me. The flavor profile was there.

Wife had a Ralphy burger and I was impressed with that as well.

It’s hard getting good service and good food anymore, waste of time and money half the time and I did not feel that way leaving here. I am excited to go back.

We were so excited to try this place. It will be my first and last time. Let’s start out by paying $9 for a Philly cheese steak for it to come on a hamburger bun. I was so disappointed. Service was horrible. They have 12 tables and can’t handle if 8 are full. $35 for my husband and I to eat. That’s ridiculous! We can eat at roadhouse and chilis for $30 and it’s way better food!
