This place is amazing!! Fabulous breakfast burritos, empanadas, matcha latte, vanilla latte, sourdough bread loaf and more. Everything we’ve tried has tasted delicious— feels like good quality, authentic ingredients.

We’ve been getting sandwiches from Louis Swiss for meetings for a while and they always go above and beyond. I need sandwiches cut in have and yes, they alter a sandwich to turn it into a veggie sandwich. ( I usually order around 10 to 20 sandwiches, 15 minute wait is amazing!) It’s always a good experience with good food and amazing, dedicated, polite staff. Thank you so much for being so considerate!! I appreciate you!

This is the only place around that is open early for breakfast. I came at 6am and got a burrito. It did not disappoint. I left my coworkers in want for a burrito. Next time, I will try an empanada.

WOW!!! I don’t understand ANY negative review about this place. I am a baker myself and when something impresses me that is special. These people have a true gift of pastry work. We loved it so much that we went back twice and drove early for our flight out to get their empanadas and burritos. Their apple Jesus was delicious as well as their almond croissant and cherry danish. Really an unexpected find! Their prices reflect the work and time they put into their craft. I appreciate the effort put into the food they produce.

Got the chipotle chicken empanada, and dear god it changed my life. Chocolate croissant and latte were also good but I will def be back for more empanadas!

There is nothing like their empanadas. They are the most divine, flakey, buttery and full of flavor ones I’ve had. I also love their sourdough and cookies as well as the spicy chai!

As avid fans of MML restaurants, we were excited to try Louis Swiss Bakery while in Aspen. With some time before our flight, we dropped off our luggage and took a stroll over.

First, I must commend the pastries this shop delivers to Swedish Hill; they are absolutely perfect. However, this review is focused solely on our lunch experience at Louis Swiss Bakery.

I ordered the Turkey Salami sandwich, while my wife opted for a turkey sandwich. Unfortunately, both were quite bland and did not leave a good impression. It was disappointing, especially considering our high expectations.

While I’m confident that Louis Swiss Bakery has some great offerings, our lunch didn’t reflect that. I’m not sure if we’ll return, and I definitely won’t be ordering another sandwich.

I NEVER miss an opportunity to stop here anytime I’m in Aspen. Freshly baked goods without Sky-high Aspen pricing. Quite a few employees have been there for years, which should tell you it’s the real deal.

I just returned from Nice and have been on a mission to find a Pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) that is even a margin as fluffy as the bakeries there. The chocolate croissant from this spot delivered! I was impressed with the flaky layers — these are hard to achieve and many American bakeries don’t get it right.

P.S. crumbs are part of the experience and signal a good croissant

Aspen Ski Co. Chefs have really run this place down. The flavors are not there any more. The breakfast burritos used to be much better. Please evenly distribute the fillings and stop over cooking the eggs on a flat top.
