Reviews
The place itself had a great vibe and was very clean, with nice music playing. They have a lot of seating so you won’t feel crowded at all, and even lit up outside seating.
The service was so wonderful as well, allowing us time to choose without pressuring us, giving us options and even creating fun conversation, which was much needed after a long day of work. We were checked on multiple times by multiple different staff.
I WILL be going back and abundantly recommend others to try.
For anyone craving quick, delicious Greek food in the UTC area, look no further than Louis Pappas Fresh Greek. We tried the traditional gyro and the dolmades—stuffed grape leaves with seasoned ground beef—and both were packed with flavor. The hummus with pita was fresh and satisfying. One tip: the salads are huge! A large can easily feed 3–4 people, so portion accordingly. Friendly service and fast for a sit-down spot. A great fast food-style Greek experience with generous portions and tasty classics. Check the photos before you go!
Gyro was ok. Pita bread was falling apart. Ingredients were fresh. Sliced tomatoes not chunks. It was warm, not hot. I asked the delivery girl at my table for extra tazikki, to which she responded we charge 85 cents for extra. I declined. Not enough on the gyro. Kinda dry. Onions were crunchy.
Personally I dislike restaurants that charge for extra sauce or dressing. The cheapness causes people to go elsewhere. Just raise your price. I felt she could of said, understanding it is your first time here and the fact you did tip on your order I will give you what you request, but be aware for next visit.
I will not return. Not impressed. Like I stated it’s OK, not blowing me away or wowing me.
The food was EXCELLENT, however, we waited a fair amount of time for the rather simple dishes we got (gyro, pita sandwich and dolmades).
We ordered the dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) as an appetizer but had to ask twice for them and they were delivered about 10 minutes after our main dishes had arrived. We were almost done by the time they got to our table. They were out of forks, so I asked the guy at the counter for some. He brought us forks a few minutes later, but I noticed when I went to refill my drinks that they still had not restocked the forks at the self-serve station.
Overall food was GREAT. Probably one of the best gyros I’ve had in Florida. The service was not good at all. They ask for a tip up front. Due to my experience, I would suggest not tipping when you order, and rather leave a cash tip based on your experience and the service you received. I’ve worked for tips and strongly feel they are earned, not simply entitled to. Besides, this is more like a fast food place, so they are making at least minimum wage, unlike table-service restaurants where they are not. I don’t mind leaving tips at these places, but I definitely did not receive service compatible with the 20% tip I left when ordering.
4-star review solely based on quality of food. Otherwise it would have been a 3. Hope this helps!
Merry Christmas!
