Louis Louis is so good!
Although they have a small menu, you wouldn’t want anything more. The service was amazing—they brought out a small board showcasing the most popular entrées and made recommendations that completely sold us.
Highly recommend the crab cakes!
It does get very busy, so I’d definitely suggest making a reservation in advance if you plan to go on the weekend.

This place is not real. They are so perfect idk where to start.
Highly recommend you to make reservations at least the day before.
The crab cake probably in my top 3 in the world and yes I have traveled to over 30 countries.
Lobster bisque, WOW, must order. ( We got the last one)
Blackened grouper with that brown butter sauce is to die for. Also, the cheese grit cake with the sauteed spinach is too delicious too pass.
Dessert:
We tried their homemade key lime pie, bread pudding and tiramisu.
They are so good we had to get 2nds, but they were sold out for the night.
This place was so good we had to come back the next day.
We had great waiters Brian and John (pronounced as Yawn)!! Service was very fast and the food is very fresh and hot.
The owner was so sweet and greets everyone while we are part of the family.
I can’t wait come back on my next vacation to Destin!!

The blackened grouper was perfect. The atmosphere was delightful and unique. They have an outdoor area, one could choose to sit by the fire, socialize or dine.
The service was over the top. Yhuan was excellent and went above and beyond to make sure everything was delightful.

Best SECRET in NW Florida! For over 10 years we fought the crowds at RED BAR on Grayton Beach. Loved the food but hated the crowds/ the crazy long wait/ the extremely loud acoustics!
BUT then we learned Red Bar owns an identical sister restaurant on the Hwy 98 in the Santa Rosa Beach area just east of Destin. The food is identical/ menu almost identical/ price appears slightly less expensive/ gobs of free parking/ accepts reservations/ plenty of space for big groups/ same identical French Ambience!
Whats best???? The flavor of the food! The nicest waitstaff!

I timed my experience from ordering my Grilled Grouper dinner on spinach/ grit cake and salad until it arrived: 3.5 minutes later and steaming hot and fresh just the way I love it! Yes: I LOVED it!!!!

Had a great dining experience! The blackened grouper was wonderful. The crab cakes were outstanding—some of the best I’ve ever had. We finished with the tiramisu for dessert, which was absolutely amazing. Sitting outside made it even better, and the service was excellent—very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our Valentine’s Day dinner at Louis Louis was amazing. The service was great, the food was simply delicious.
What an interesting and fun atmosphere. It was too chilly to eat outside but hopefully we will get an opportunity to enjoy the outdoor seating in the future. We live in North Carolina and would certainly love to have a Louis Louis here.

Got this To-Go and it was still FANTASTIC. so good I can’t believe I waited so long to try it. Please please please go eat here and get some food that’s ACTUALLY worth the price!! Definitely will be returning to dine in but from the entrance it seemed like both a classy and laid back vibe.

The grouper, crab cakes and their homemade dressing for the salad was amazing!
The staff was extremely good!
We loved the unique dining room with the chandlers and random decorations!
The outdoor patio had its own charm!
We kept reading online that Louie Louie only accepts cash & checks but they DO accept credit cards! Not sure why that is posted on line in several places. Not sure if the owner is aware. We did mention this to our server.
If I were the owner I’d be concerned about losing potential diners with the incorrect info out there.
You can definitely see that this place has a big following! The restaurant was empty when we first arrived at 4:30 and noticed it was super packed as we were leaving!

We had a group of ten and everything from start to finish was fantastic! The atmosphere at Louis Louis is fun and welcoming — perfect for a night out with friends. Everyone’s food was absolutely delicious (not one complaint from our table), the service was attentive and friendly, and the desserts were incredible! They handled a large group with ease and made us feel completely comfortable. Highly recommend for great food, great vibes, and a great time!

I ordered the blackened grouper and it is the best grouper order I have ever consumed. Every part of my meal was delicious; from the salad with a wonderful tomato based vinaigrette, to the mashed potatoes, and even to the nice little bread roll which topped off. The portion size was very generous and the service was lightning fast. The owner is very friendly and walked around. Although he accidentally coughed on me, this was not enough to deter the full restaurant experience. Best meal I’ve had in a long time!
