I rate 4.5/5. I recently celebrated my birthday at Louis House of Bourbon, and overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion. The managers were also very personable and friendly walking around to check on everyone. This place even had a DJ after 9 p.m. on Friday, which really added to the vibe!

The drinks were great, and I highly recommend trying their Crème Brûlée—it was absolutely amazing. However, I found the chicken (on the menu as “Coq au Vin”) a bit overpriced at $45 for a small airline chicken breast with a wing tip. Don’t get me wrong, it delicious (it’s chicken over a wine reduction sauce with mashed potatoes, see photos) but it left me still quite hungry. If I could do it again, I’d skip the chicken and go straight for the BBQ chicken pizza. It was fantastic and definitely worth the order! My husband had the burger, and he said it was decent.

Overall, a fun spot with great service and a lively atmosphere, but choose your menu items wisely to get the most value!

The spot resembles a men’s cave, nicely nestled within Chateau Elan’s main hotel. The High West Cocktail Collective brought me to this den-like environment. Oversized leather couches and games provide entertainment—and let’s not forget the bar. It’s an ideal spot to catch up over a cocktail or mocktail. I’ll definitely return to check out the food menu.

Fire the kitchen manager that oversees the House of Bourbon!
Chateau Elan has been beautifully refurbished and this bar was eccentric and vibrant. The staff was nice for the most part, but very cluttered and came across unorganized.
We had to wait a bit to get service and when we did find a table it was dirty so we had to clean it. Even the chairs were dingy.
The drinks were okay. They need to check the balance of their cocktails prior to sending them out. When we finally did get our drinks they were beautifully presented. Although the vermouth needs to be checked.
Let go to the nightmare that they call food. We ordered the shrimp tempura , seared tuna tartar, the chicken wings, and the BBQ sliders.
The seafood dishes were covered, completely covered, with stale bean curds. Bean curds take maybe 1 minute to fry up and they were stale, that is just lazy to me.
The shrimp was greasy and tasted off, so either the shrimp was old, the grease trap needs to be changed out badly, or they were sitting out for far too long. The seared tuna was just bad. The spicy mayo was a bad choice for seasoning and the cabbage paired with it had gone brown. I mean, what a lazy uninspired dish- do you really hate your customers that much? Put a ponzu scauce with seared tuna, a mayo is too heavy and disgusting.
Moving on from that headache, we have the wings. The wings were blah. My partner said that going to a Taco Mac would have been better, and the price from those pathetic excuse for wings was astronomical. Its like they are trying to drive people away. Finally the sliders looked lovely and were probably the best part of the meal would it not have been for the stale buns.
We were so excited to come here and enjoy ourselves but it was simply disappointing. We waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for over priced food that was not worth our time or money.
We did say something to our server, but were not offered a discount or anything for our troubles. We didn’t see a manger at all And we are not ones to make a scene so we paid $157 for a terrible evening. When they clean up the bar and get a new chef we are happy to return, but until then we won’t be returning.
If you stay at the chateau and need a late night snack/ drink save yourself some time and go elsewhere.

Great vibe and experience overall, and I loved all the drink options. The Back in Thyme and Louis’ Last Resort were my favorites. Pretzel was very tasty; service was good too. Definitely coming back

Enjoyed while staying at the hotel the awesome Jazz Saturday night. Fun festive atmosphere. Couple of pool tables, a table shuffleboard, great bar, and food coming out looked great.

Stayed at the resort for a weekend and came by this spot for drinks. It was very busy and had a live R&B singer (who was fantastic by the way). Was able to find a spot at the bar and the bartender was great. Very friendly and made good suggestions. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

This was the MOST fun part of our stay at Chateau Elan. Pool table, live music, and the best part – an amazing bartender named Liyah. I think this place should be renamed Liyah’s House of Martinis. I normally hate ordering drinks out because they are rarely as tasty as the ones I make at home, definitely not as strong, and way overpriced. I told Liyah what I liked – martini’s with flavor, but not sweet and she delivered!!! For $13 I had Tito’s martinis that were soooo good! The last martini of our last night I asked for a dessert (sweet) martini – chocolate amaretto – YUM!!! If you are in the area and want an excellent custom made martini for you – ask for Liyah!

Service was non-existent. The one time we did get it, they didn’t tell us they added 20% automatically for tip, so we tipped on top. They didn’t even deserve our tip, much less the 20% they decided to add onto the bill. They were rude, didn’t care at all that we tried to wait patiently. We will NEVER return.
