My wife and I had a great dinner at Louie’s On 2nd. Our waitress recommended the Baseball steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. She was right about the potatoes being popular! I had the Lemon Chicken with Spaghetti and it was also delicious. Don’t forget to order the Bruschetta for an appetizer and the Chocolate Mousse for dessert, both great.

Had an awesome experience at Louie’s on Second, and a huge part of that was the service. Christopher and Dennis were absolutely fantastic. From the moment we sat down, they were welcoming, very funny, and incredibly personable.
They took the time to really explain the menu and drinks without rushing us, answered all our questions, and made great recommendations based on what we liked. You can tell they genuinely know the menu and enjoy what they do. Their patience and sense of humor made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun, not transactional at all.
The drinks were excellent, and the service alone would bring me back. If you’re lucky enough to be taken care of by Christopher and Dennis, you’re in great hands. Definitely looking forward to coming back! Get the garlic fries and the ribs & Hugo Spritz!

For my 1st time here I really enjoyed the place. My husband and I met up with our 2 friends Dana & Betsy to hang out . The girls chose a great spot. The vibe was on point, the music in the background was good and the service was great and the drinks and food were delicious . Shout out to our sever Dennis for taking care of us. He let us know there happy hour menu and other items on the menu. Stop by locals or any out of towners and grab a bite and a drink and enjoy a good night out in Long Beach.

Tried Louie’s in the 2nd for the first time last week and it was excellent. I sat at the bar had a nice Old Fashioned and a shot of Michters. Both were great. I was recommended the triple smash burger which was super flavorful. I’m not a fan of messy burgers and this one fit the bill. Finished off my meal with the highly recommended carrot cake which is definitely shareable. It’s not too sweet and was super most. Win win! Highly recommend this place.

Very nice, relatively new addition to 2nd Street… was kinda empty on an early Tuesday afternoon. Loved the decor, service was very good and friendly and the food was excellent. Loved the selection of cocktails and whiskey even though I only had one of their mocktails… I’ll have to come back next month.

For a place that just opened, they are on it. Great atmosphere with indoor/outdoor patio seating, great staff – friendly, fast, attentive. And the food was perfect. Great quality and presentation. Can’t forget the great drink options. Something for everyone. We’ll be back!
