Stopped in for lunch while out riding the machines. First time back since new ownership. Wow! It’s so nice! Love the outside seating and games while overlooking the water. The inside looks fantastic! We were greeted by Deanna who was an awesome bartender. She was able to perfectly describe the items on the menu and offer her suggestions as well. I ended up with the hand battered chicken tender dinner. It was so good! Hot, juicy and the perfect amount of batter. Absolutely would recommend those! Can’t wait to go back and try the other items on the menu. They have daily specials as well.

Stumbled upon this place on a Friday night. The random chance we took turned out great! Good drinks, great food, spectacular dessert. We got a few items to try:
– breaded mushrooms – crispy and juicy at the same time
– potato skins – cheesy, crispy bacon, cooked just right
– scallops – seared to perfection, rice, asparagus and sauce were all top notch
– fish fry – perfect. Try the cornbread muffin, it’s unreal.
– turtle cheesecake – just the right amount of nuts and caramel
– brownie with ice cream – warm brownie, cold ice cream, 100% yes

Chicken was great. Cheese curds pretty good. Burger was a hockey puck. Lady running the bar thought it was appropriate to talk down to their food runner, who we thought did a great job. If you like chicken and don’t care about the rest, go for it. Otherwise hard pass.

We really enjoyed the chill vibe we found at Louie’s Landing. The owner, Bruce, gave us a warm welcome although he was very busy. We had tacos on Mexican night then returned with friends for chicken. Yummy. The chicken was delicious with a nice crunch and the fries were cooked perfectly. Our meal went down great with ice cold Spotted Cow beer on tap. We will definitely be back and hopefully get a few games of crib in on that cool crib board table.

Absolutely would never recommend this place. We came on Friday but it was busy so we decided to make a reservation for today Saturday. We sat and ordered at 6:20 did not get food until 8:17 and when the server realized we have no food she avoided us like the plague. Never got refills. We were starving with a falling asleep 3 year old. Finally get the food and I paid $18 for the picture attached. The chicken on everyone else’s plates was way too salty. We were missing so many sides. What an awful experience all around.

Jack is great! This place has great wifi and the chicken strips are very tasty! Don’t forget they are right on the wonderful Moose Lake and the boat landing is only 5.00.

Classic Northern Wisconsin bar/restaurant. The broasted chicken was excellent and the homemade cornbread muffin was great. Very clean and tidy place. We enjoyed the history lesson from Jack, the owner. We will be back!
