Traveling from Boston to Arcadia. I stopped here at 8:55 with a party of six.. This place went out of there way to serve us and make us feel.like home.. The food was the best I’ve had so far in Maine. It was good American food with a variety of menu items. I especially likes the Mac and cheese.

My goodness I have missed Louie’s! I just had the BEST scallop risotto with perfectly cooked steamed broccoli and a Cesar salad. It was SO great to chat with Jim and see great local friends that I have not seen in many months. Grateful for this great place to gather for good food and drinks.

First and foremost we enjoy our visit’s since discovering Louis’s. It has become our favorite spot when eating out. Our most recent visit with friends was not as good. The steak tips were overdone along with some confusion with appetizers which they corrected and even removed the charge on bill ! It’s probably the new kitchen staff learning and we will return again. Thank you Jim and our pleasant waitress !!! Merry Christmas

I rate this my overall FAVORITE restaurant! The service there was AMAZING and they made you feel like part of the family. I had my eleventh b-day there and they turned Down the lights and had the whole diner sing happy birthday. It was truly amazing. I hope that someday this restaurant gets a 5 star rating instead of 4.6. Good luck with future customers! (I will definitely be one.)

I had take-out. The turkey blt… not on the menu, but they don’t mind whipping up whatever you’re looking for. It was terrific! The service was fast and friendly, and the sandwich was affordable, included chips and a pickle spear.
Update: I’ve been eating here at least once every couple of months for the past 2 years and I’ve had nothing but good experiences and yummy food. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is wonderful.
