We stopped in for dinner with our kids. This was our first time here. Our food was delicious. I had the prime rib dip and my wife had the wet burrito.

We waited quite a bit longer than we were told for a table. Very understanding because stuff like that does happen. Getting drinks at the bar is a little difficult when waiting for a table. Once we are seated the server was attentive to our orders. We received our drinks and food in a timely manner although the $15.00 margarita is definitely not anything to write home about. I ordered the mahi tacos and was less than impressed. Hardly any flavor to the tacos and the mahi was no bigger than my pinky finger. Very disappointed in the tacos. Went and got food at another restaurant after leaving due to the fact that it was not even advertiser size….

Overall a fun experience.
The Cubano pizza made into a calzone was delicious, although I would prefer the sauce to be more silly (but I am a big fan of dill). But I would probably opt to leave it as a pizza next time rather than made into a calzone
The house made chips and French onion dip were very tasty and my wife enjoyed her Southwest salad.
I will say the perogies left something to be desired texture wise but had a nice flavor (even though my wife thinks they used the incorrect cheese).
The service was great even with the large crowd for trivia night! The trivia people were wonderful as well!

We really enjoy Louie’s, but was disappointed by how they price toppings on pizza. The menu does not disclose it, but if you split the toppings on the pizza; you will be charged $1.75 for every topping. If you get a 3 topping pizza with 3 unique toppings on one side and 3 unique toppings on the other side; you will be charged for 6 toppings! Had we known this, we would not have split the toppings.
The wings are good, no doubt, but also a bit expensive.
Once again, we really enjoy Louie’s, but the prices of food and the way they price out some entrees is a bit surprising. Plus, they add a 4% supplemental to each check now…

We tried this place for the first time on a late Sunday night. With most places closing early that day it was nice to find a place that stays open later. After eating at this place we cannot wait to go back. The pizza is some of the best pizza we have had in the area. I also loved the chili. It is the best chili I have had in a restaurant outside of Texas. It was the right amount of smoke and heat. We will come back for just those two items. Everything else was good, the rest of our food and our server.

The only vegan item on the menu- a Beyond vegan patty sandwich-the patty was ice cold, but our waitress had it replaced no problem. My wife said her Reuben sandwich was great.
Their onion rings are enormous, and tasty.

Great experience and it was our first time in. Got the crab dip with Flatbread for our appetizer (which could have been a meal in itself bit definitely big enough to share) and a BBQ chicken pizza for dinner. Both were excellent! Collin was our server and he did a great job. Will definitely be back.

Louie’s is legendary in Kalamazoo for their burgers at the original restaurant. Our waitress suggested the pizza. We had the garbage pizza and the Louie’s French dip and the smoked gouda crab dip. They were all awesome. The smoked gouda crab dip may be the best dip I have ever had, it’s that good. And the foccaccia it comes with is excellent as well. The atmosphere is really cool unless you don’t like real stuffed animals. You’ll love this place.

Best weekend brunch in Kalamazoo. Bloody Mary Bar is 2nd to none. Best Bacon I have ever had. Caramelized in syrup and a slight kick makes it a perfect sweet to go with a spicy bloody. Breakfast pizza was perfect. Incredible sausage, loved the sausage gravy and perfect amount of cheese.

Mehhh. It was OK. I did order Mexican in a non-Mexican place so my order expectations were set appropriately. 3 stars does mean to me that I would try it again. Opportunity for improvements include much hotter food. Don’t tell me the plate is hot if the food is not. I’m sure it was because all the onions, tomatoes, lettuce, etc. was added cold. Also fresh jalapeños are A LOT better than canned in my opinion.
Margarita – pass on it is my recommendation. Needs to have much more lime flavor and SOME level of tartness. Again it was okish. Hard to believe they charged me $22 for this substandard double well drink
