Every time I come in, the food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. You can taste the quality in every bite. But what makes this place stand out even more is the staff — they’re some of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. They remember you, greet you with a smile, and make you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. It’s rare to find a place with amazing food and amazing people, but this shop has both. If you’re looking for delicious sandwiches and a warm, friendly atmosphere, this is definitely the place to go!

Louie G’s are worth the price of their sandwiches. My favorite is the hot roast beef w provolone and their wedge fries are delicious! We also ordered a cheesesteak with cooper sharp, mushrooms, and fried onions. My daughter said, “ Mom this is the best cheesesteak I’ve ever tasted!” I couldn’t agree more. It’s a must try.

Simply put, Louie G’s deserves all of the hype! The cheesesteaks are phenomenal! Better than 90% of cheesesteak spots in Philly. Definitely worth checking out.
They can be pretty busy depending on the time or day, so you have to plan ahead, but it’s worth it!

Generous portions/sized sandwiches, excellent roll/bread, hot pork and chicken cheese steaks were excellent (wedge fries were the perfect side). Staff is friendly, gave some good advice, and came out in a reasonable about of time. Only ding if there is any, would be outside seating only!

I feel bad having to view this place only 4 stars, but I can’t ignore the overall experience. First thing that happened was over a month I randomly decided to stop for a lunch. The place was hyped highly when looking for local delicacies. Twice it was closed. So finally I looked them up and made sure to order when they were open. I was excited for the spud fries, nobody does them like that anymore. Very nostalgic for me. So I paid $44 for a cheesesteak and cheese fries. It was really a gut punch to get cold cheese fries and a messy cheesesteak. However the meat and cheese, mushrooms, fried onions, hot peppers… were so fresh and really delicious. Honestly order an empty roll on the side, you can make another cheesesteak out of how loaded it is. Somehow it’s annoying full, lol, but I truly cant consider that a bad thing on their end. Really only disappointed by the fries, after chasing the ghost of this place for months it felt like such a letdown. Especially since im only 4 minutes away. Next time I can spoil myself on a $40 lunch/dinner for myself, ill pick it up and try again. Its definitely worth trying this place again.

Are the sandwiches cheap? No. Do I mind paying for them? No. You won’t have a better sandwich in SJ. The meat is plentiful and the taste is incredible. The staff is very warm and make you feel like you are a guest in their home.

Went out of my way to try there cheesesteaks. They do very good social media promoting their cheesesteaks. I got the cheesesteak with caramelized onions on a seated roll. Price was on the higher side but well worth it. Crazy tasty, onions were perfect, and the seated roll was very fresh. The meat was cut perfectly and very tender! The owner and all the workers I met there were top-notch. I would definitely go out of my way to stop here again.

I finally stopped in to grab a sandwich and let me tell you. The Lous Famous roast beef with Cooper Sharp, fried onions(perfectly caramelized) on a seeded roll, prob the best I’ve ever had. Super nice family as well. I’ll be back !!!

Finally made my way to Louie G’s. Went to the new location in Washington Twitter. across from the hospital. Seating area was ample. Ordered a hot roast beef with gravy and onions on a seeded roll .Sandwich was delicious, roll was crispy and had no problem handling the large amount of roast beef and the gravy. Definitely will be going back , well worth the drive from Hammonton. Staff was friendly and helpful

My husband and I stopped for sandwiches and I can’t wait to go back! The sesame rolls were amazing! He had the roast beef and I had a chicken cheesesteak hoagie (that took me 2 days to finish)
